We had our Bella groomed by the Lucky Dog Mobile Grooming except, it was in Brooklyn, NY. I searched through Yelp and I could not find a listing for Lucky Dog Mobile Grooming in Brooklyn. Honestly, this didn't make sense to me. It certainly does exists because, we just had our dog groomed by Lucky Dog, directly on our street in Fort Green, Brooklyn. I want to give the Brooklyn, Lucky Dog Grooming the review they deserve. However, since I don't see an alternative, I am posting this with the Freehold, NJ location. I'm hoping this can be straightened out. I was extremely happy with their services and I want the correct location and individuals to get the review they deserve. This was our first experience using Lucky Dog to bath, groom, and give Bella a "spa day." We had used another mobile grooming company twice within the last six months. I wasn't disappointed with their services but, they were extremely overpriced. Our Bella can be very dramatic and trying to bath her, cut her nails, and groom her is not easy. We have given up on attempting to get her clean at home. She gets so stressed, which makes us stressed. She also has become a bathtub an escape artist. When the Lucky Dog van arrived, Bella didn't just calmly hop in the van. She used her flair for drama. One would think she was going to "the slammer." Chris was incredibly patient with Bella and myself. She was patient, sensitive and encouraging with Bella. Once Bella was actually in the grooming van, the melodramatic behavior stopped. Bella was put at ease by Chris. Thank you Chris, you deserve a reward! When Bella was finished with her spa experience, she was not only clean and shiny (with trimmed nails, ears cleaned) she was calm and happy. We (Bella) will be a regular customer with Lucky Mobile Grooming. Next time Bella may be presented with an Oscar for best outstanding, overly dramatic dog!
