I'd had to rebook three times due to life happening, but they were friendly, helpful and welcoming. I'd had to drive round the block four times before I was able to park. This is the only drawback. I will not take away a star though, I was very happy and pleased and I am not easily impressed by hairdressers. They sorted a problem I've been trying to communicate to my usual hair dresser. Went in to get highlights and a cut…read more I showed Richard two clear pictures of how my hair normally is and he first off started looking for a highlight cap - something that I could have done at home for free! When I suggested he use foils he did, but only highlighted certain areas of my head, I thought I would leave it in the hands of the expert. 30 minutes go by and he started to trim my hair - he took great care in the cut which was great - but was a bit over eager with the clippers and now is shorter than I have ever had before - when I asked to not take much length off the back and sides. I walked out of the salon and saw my reflection in the window - I looked like a zebra - where I normally have golden blonde subtle highlights all over to make my fine hair seem fuller - I had platinum blonde streaks through my hair and no hair on the back of my head. Don't get me wrong - Richard was all about the customer service and he was a pleasure to spend an afternoon with - but I was so unhappy with the results. After washing my hair at home and styling it as I normally would - I drove straight to the supermarket and bought a brown dye to cover it all up. I have a really important weekend this weekend and instead of having a really nice haircut, I'm wishing I hadn't bothered risking a new salon.

She just gets it exactly right every time and knows exactly what suits me. I even dragged my husband along and she transformed him..... reminding me of why I married him. I love her new salon in Ashley Cross, clean, bright, tasteful and welcoming and sooo relaxed. It's convenient too with a car park right opposite, and it's on a bus route to Poole and Bournemouth. Unfortunately they don't do NHS work anymore so I've had to opt for private insurance to stick with them, but so far I think it's been worth the expense. I now live about half an hour's drive from the practice, but I also feel this is a small price to pay for the good service I receive here. The SMS text appointments reminder service is a real help, and getting an appointment with the dentist is easy. The only minor gripes I have are that dental hygenist appointments get very booked-up, their new phones system seems overly complicated for the size of the practice, and if you don't book a follow-up appointment at the time, they're not so good at chasing you to remind you. On balance, an excellent dental practice that I'm only too happy to recommend.

The dentists and receptionists are always friendly and whilst I'm a bit of a dentist coward, I am always put at my ease and treated very well. Costs are no different to the usual private health treatment you would get elsewhere and I don't find them overly expensive. Modern equipment and clean treatment rooms are standard and very good dentists that don't do work on your teeth just for the sake of it.

There is loads of free parking and they are so conveniently placed.
