Sammy (the owner) immediately made the experience customer friendly. He definitely knows how to engage his customers. He offered me an option between water and/or coffee. I kindly refused, but appreciated the offer nonetheless. Acquiring my mother's property was fairly easy. He asked for my I.D and proceeded to complete the process. We engaged in lighthearted conversations, which led to the discovery of some things that we shared in common. This business only accepts cash, which I didn't have. It also doesn't have an ATM, so I had to go to the bank, which was only a hop, skip and a jump away. So it wasn't an inconvenience. Now if you're lazy and just don't want to go, then that's another story. All in all my experience was pleasant. He reweighed the jewelry and made sure that it matched what was initially recorded on paper. It matched. Sammy is an older gentleman and works to make sure that you leave with what you came for.
