good amount of machines but most of them are broken, $5-7 per wash. kind of ridiculous seeing as you bring/buy your own detergent. really unfortunate since the people who need a laundromat are in lower incomes or broke college students like myself. wish they had more affordable options. read more

Tina who works there says that wearing a mask that you can see through below her nose is 'good enough for her'. Their Facebook site and signs on the door promise surfaces are clean and sanitized but Tina sneezed while doing a customers laundry and didnt attempt to cover her mouth and nose. Ewww, hope its not your laundry! Customers were talking about her not wearing a mask as they left and with one another while there. Cross this one off your list and go anywhere else where a business cares about your health. This may be a future hot spot for Covid 19! Not one surface was sanitized by Tina. YUK! read more

This is a great little laundromat, the hours are good and they have a variety of different machine sizes to match your load. The attendants are incredibly friendly and helpful and the cost of the machines and supplies is totally reasonable. read more

No dry cleaning..... Can drop off laundry and pick it up in a few days all clean and folded just like mom would do!

Excellent service and the place is spotless clean. We are here from out of town camping at DH Day, and our stuff was not pretty. The owner of the business helped me get our sleeping bags and other gear clean, quickly and efficiently. The family run place is just what one hopes for from a small business: care and friendliness, and good business. Highly recommend. read more

Most horrible experience! Worse laundromat I ever been to! The worker Bonnie is soo rude! Small single loads are $2.50 and dryers a quarter to start and aren't even hot. Cost me more to dry then to wash. They advertise they have large front loaders but that's mainly used for their drop off services and everyone there was using the small top loaders. $2.50 in my opinion is a rip off and everyone knows they don't clean as good especially when they are all out of date washers. While in the middle of drying the worker/owner friend Bonnie came up to me and asked me to remove my clothes because they were backed up with their laundry drop off services. I told her I would not because I'm still using the dryers and I still have time left on them. I don't know why she only asked me. I was going in and out of the laundromat because it became uncomfortable and to top it off every time I came back into the building I would catch them gossiping about me! And of course like crickets it immediately stop when they seen me. I didn't appreciate them being so rude and unprefressional and to extend that rude behavior onto my 4 year old. And to tell people they are backed up on their services because SHE (me) has 3 dryers caught up! As if me using 3 dryers out of their wall of dryers was the reason. When I was leaving I went over to Bonnie and said I'm done now. And she rudely said "Good" all but saying now get out! The owner the whole time stood by and let this happen. I was a paying customer and should've been treated better. Being the only minority in the building and how I felt the whole time I was there I actually felt discriminated upon a feeling I never felt before. Coming from Arizona and visiting this place that I thought thrived on tourist bringing in money..it really felt unwelcoming to be in a local establishment and to be treated that way. This laundromat was the only listing for laundry services in the area and I really hope someone opens a modern laundromat with professional workers that would make visitors feel welcome. My family loves Michigan and I plan on bringing my 1 year and 4 year old back every summer but as far as Suttons Bay Laundromat you lost me as a customer. You don't even deserve the one star I needed to select to post this review. read more
