His insight and explanations really helped me see the logic behind his treatment. I thought because my neck and shoulders hurt, the needles were going to be placed there, but Mr. park explained how the left hemisphere of our body is connected and he put needles on my feet and arms which actually made my neck better; I was able to turn my neck without tightness. The follow up sessions would be needles on my neck and shoulders according to him. He also explained that cupping is more for increasing blood flow while acupuncture is geared towards tightness of the muscle, which is what I needed for my treatment. Very friendly and knowledgeable in his craft. Wish the price was a little cheaper but definitely will be back!

If it does, it generally means that point was very blocked and needed to be opened to improve the flow of chi through the meridian. Each treatment's fee is on a sliding scale, $35-55. You can also purchase a package of 4 visits for $120, cash or check, with credit card online being an added fee. With the community clinic model, there are four beds in one room meaning you can be treated at the same time along with up to three other people. There's soothing new age music playing in the background, but you can still hear talking within the room and sometimes from adjacent rooms. I like bringing earplugs to tune out any chatter. Dr. Judy Yu can seem a little no nonsense, but she puts your health first and genuinely wants you to get better. Dr. Judy has over 30 years of acupuncture experience, and she is happy to answer any questions you may have. Besides acupuncture, other treatment options available include cupping and herbs. There are two other acupuncturists who work at Acupuncture for All Decatur. You can book online with any one of the three.
