I would give 10 STARS if I could! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This is my first experience with acupuncture, I have always had a "fear/phobia" of needles since childhood so even making an appointment was huge for me. I must say, literally ... the pins/needles they use are so thin I didn't feel most of them being used ... and the few that I did feel were no big deal ... not like a blood draw or an injection or bee sting or pinch or even a finger prick for Diabetes testing ... I was SHOCKED as to how "non-eventful" it was. Leena is extraordinary at what she does. Was incredibly patient with all of my "phobic questions" and made sure I was comfortable and peaceful through the entire session ... and I WAS! She is a very intuitive, empathetic practitioner in this field and knows her stuff!! Not only are my original issues resolving (adrenal dysfunction, insomnia, Type 2 Diabetes, hormonal unbalance, etc) I am getting my life back thanks to Leena's intuition regarding my vocal flap paralysis! I couldn't sing or talk in my high registry since February. After the first session addressing that issue I could actually SING again albeit still raspy but at least something was coming out!! AMAZING! She equipped me with an acupressure ring, at home castor oil massage therapy instructions and I have been improving every day! MIND BLOWN! An ENT wanted to put me on a dangerous drug to try and address the VFP ... I am so glad I didn't go that route!! FYI: If she recommends supplements/chinese herbs, get them! GAME CHANGER!! NOTE: My experience and outcomes are so extraordinary that MY HUSBAND decided to go to Leena for his "Ringing In The Ears" ... and once again, Leena came through and he is improving daily as well!! He thought it was a part of ageing ... but indeed, it is not and Leena is helping to restore non-ringing hearing. Hallelujah!!! read more

Used acupuncture services for fertility initially and wrist/arm pain. The fertility acupuncture helped tremendously. I did a few treatments and followed the plan with certain foods to have/avoid along with vitamins in preparation for IVF. The plan worked so well, we naturally got pregnant prior to starting IVF. Also, as some pregnancy symptoms, I've been having arm and wrist pain. Leena's acupuncture sessions along with additional remedies corrected my pain. I highly recommend them for a more holistic/natural approach for fertility and other issues. read more

I went for a consultation and first time treatment of acupuncture and cupping. Very thorough initial visit. Professional. Kind staff. Will be doing 6 visits and then reevaluating. Went for a pain in my back near the right shoulder blade that has been resistant to other treatments. But I discovered that it will ultimately help me with other issues, too! This was my first time getting acupuncture. It was recommended to me by a friend who experienced morning sickness and the technique really worked for her. I went to Lena and she didn't really give me much information about what she was doing and didn't seem too interested in helping me. She actually recommended me going to the doctor to get pills for nausea while pregnant. This puzzled me bc I thought this was supposed to be a more holistic route. The procedure went very fast and I honestly don't feel it was worth $115 at all. She only used 8 needles my friend say the used at least 25 for her. It seems as if my procedure was rushed and not effective. I didn't feel any better and when I called the next day to let her know she wasn't concerned at all. She just said she would cancel my upcoming appointment. Overall I'm very dissatisfied with the service I received. I may look into going to a different location and hopefully get better results. I personally wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I had been seeing Leena for neck problems for about a year. During that time I was remarried and decided to try for another baby. My husband had never had children while I had 3 older children from a previous marriage (ages 17, 13, 11). We had been trying to get pregnant unsuccessfully for about 2 years and suffered a miscarriage. I had been to a couple of Fertility Clinics and due to my age (my husband and I are both 43), we were told that the likelihood of success was very low doing IVF with my own eggs. My AMH levels were extremely low. However we wanted to try one IVF cycle with my own eggs. I read that acupuncture could help your chances and had been so happy with my treatment with Leena for my neck I decided to work with her during my IVF cycle. She was so knowledgable and accommodating to make sure she was available to my at all times during my cycle, retrieval and transfer for the acupuncture treatments. We delivered a beautiful and perfectly healthy baby boy after the first try and I truly believe Leena was a huge factor in our success. My husband and I had tried for years to get pregnant. With no luck we sought the help of a fertility specialist and decided to try IVF. Lena takes time to talk to you on each visit before treating you. After 5 weekly visits my migraines have decreased from a maximum of 3/week to none since starting treatment. I had been suffering from severe sciatica pain that went from my lower pain, down my leg and actually out my toes! I had lost hope of any help and then called my insurance company on a whim to see if insurance covered acupuncture. They did! I have Lupus, arthritis, two herniated discs in my lower back and a bunch of other unfortunate medical issues. After some how aggravating my two herniated discs and being told by 3 doctors that I saw that they could and would do nothing to help my pain and that I should suck it up, I looked to other ways to alleviate pain. I walked into Dr. Leena Cooks office nearly in tears, unable to sit upright in the chair, practically begging for anything to help the pain. I limped into her office, and walked out almost completely straight after the first session. I could not believe it.
