This is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are fitted out and comfortable with good insulation and heating, and while the kitchenettes aren't luxurious, they're more than enough to keep a weekend trip - or one with dinners out, since the hotel is close to the main town of Yass and several shops around - in good order. The buffet continental breakfast is well-appointed and parking is convenient. By far the best thing about the inn, however, is the friendly helpfulness and versatility of the staff. This was the second trip myself and a group of friends made to the inn, and the staff were happy to negotiate group rates and access to the hall, and couldn't do enough for us while we were there. Cleaning staff were helpful and communicative when encountered but completely nonintrusive otherwise. Always a pleasure to visit, and I'm all but certain we'll visit again next year. read more
