The buffet continental breakfast is well-appointed and parking is convenient. By far the best thing about the inn, however, is the friendly helpfulness and versatility of the staff. This was the second trip myself and a group of friends made to the inn, and the staff were happy to negotiate group rates and access to the hall, and couldn't do enough for us while we were there. Cleaning staff were helpful and communicative when encountered but completely nonintrusive otherwise. Always a pleasure to visit, and I'm all but certain we'll visit again next year.

What a fabulous surprise is Mandelsons of Goulburn Hotel…read more We had the good fortune recently (Easter 2012) of not only attending a good friends wedding at Mandelsons, but we got to stay there aw well. This historic property has return to active duty as a hotel and is very much worth the stay. Restored to it's former glory the property is a very good snap shot of the past. About 99.9% of the property is in period, including mannequins dressed in period clothing. There are eight rooms available, all lavishly decorated and furnished. The hotel only serves a continental breakfast, but this is OK as there are some many other places to eat in Goulburn and surrounds. The owners, Clare and Steve are fantastic. They were perfect hosts and if you are into quilting, you are in for a surprise. Check out the website.
