I recently…read morebought a house and my wife got a part time job so I figured I would use a professional to help me understand if there were any tax breaks or things I can benefit from being a father of 4. Well, the women that assisted me needed to ask for help several times because she was not confident in what she was doing. Also my wife did not make enough to even file, which we did not know but they still added her income which put us in the rear for the 1st time ever because there were no federal tax taken out for her due the low amount. We were so confused because this has never happened to us before using TurboTax. The manager said it was my wife's fault based on her return not being federally taxed only to find out after, her income should have not even been used. We got hit with a $350 bill and a balance to the IRS. Needless to say, I went home and did TurboTax and my return was over 2k and was only charged $50 for direct deposit. NEVER USE H&R BLOCK!!!
