This is a great looking place from the outside, big upstairs conservatory, bit of a waste seeing as theres nothing but buildings and the road to look from it. I had for my starter some ribs and the nachos. Ribs weren't that good, the sauce was nice enough but it was the quality of the meat that let it down, was such a shame as I've been looking for a great American rib somewhere in or around Sheffield for the past 5 years with no joy. For my main meal i had the Pizza romana, the crispy parma ham was amazing and the pepperoni has a nice spice to it, however the mozzarella let it down, there was no taste to it at all. I also tried the mexican which was quite spicy but the charred chicken on it was great, also the spicy pepperoni and chorizo was pretty good too. I didn't bother with a desert seeing that no one else at the table wanted one so gave it a miss. The environment is good, fairly open with nice mix of music on the speakers, most of the staff are friendly and open, but one of the waitresses was very "in you face", made people uncomfortable and quite loud at times, obviously her personality at while working is forced. The price for the meal was ok if only a little expensive seeing as they don't use all authentic or quality(ribs) ingredients but its not extortionate, to improve their food they just need to get better suppliers, it cant be difficult to find a good meat supplier or find some mozzarella that has some taste to it. I may go back again but I'm sure ill try some other American diners before i give them another chance. Another problem is parking, there is no car park owned by the business so you need to find street parking or get taxi, a little inconvenient at some times of day. read more
