I've been to lots of gyms all over the country and that is NOT always the case. The gym is very clean and tidy. The people are wonderful. All of them very encouraging and friendly. They had a wide range of fitness levels: from young whipper snappers who could lift heavy weight to older men and women in their forties and fifties. They clearly know how to accommodate different populations and the varying needs of each one. It's not a huge gym and the classes are small so you will get plenty of attention. They will respond with a text message saying you have to send a cancellation request to an email not listed directly on their website and request you pay a cancellation fee even if you did not renew your annual membership. The mediocre gym is not worth the headache of cancellation.
