From pop rocks to popcorn, all kinds of flavors, red hot, popcorn, banana fudge, cinnamon, popcorn, big red hot chocolate. Nice lunch menu with Hotdogs and hamburgers to enjoy another day. It's a fun place to look at and get treats. We ordered chili without beans but it was just like hamburger and chili powder and that's it. Disappointing. Cornbread was okay - no butter, just a pack of honey. The wings are new to them and they were tasty. Chicken fingers and fries were over done but okay. Good ice cream. The cashier was friendly. I saw this place while driving through Charlotte a number of times and finally stopped today. Very cute popcorn, candy, soda shop. We picked some of the taffy and old fashioned candy. Plus tasted the delicious popcorn flavors. So many to select from. Plus my mom picked up dark chocolate coffee beans and taffy for my sister-in-law and kids. They also have a snack bar so we ordered fries and a hot dog. The fries were thin sliced hand cut fries and were hot and delicious! My mom had the hot dog, she kept saying both the bread and hot dog were really good. I had a small bite and wished I ordered one too. There were a number of people so a bit of wait. But the servers were friendly and welcoming. There is limited seating inside but I did see a few eating outside despite it being February. (It's TN so ‍). In the little town of Charlotte, TN is an old school Candy, Ice Cream, Gourmet Pop Corn, Vintage Soda, and Burger spot called Sweet Charlotte. Stopped in for lunch and what a wonderful place and the folks working there were exceptional. Ordered some burgers and hot dogs (char grilled) along with fries (homemade and hand cut), some vintage pop, and a couple of milk shakes. There's no pictures of the food, as everyone was starving and attacked as soon as it was delivered to the picnic tables. Everything was good, the fries were excellent, and the shakes reminded me of the old fashioned ice cream parlor style. If you are anywhere near this little gem make it a point to stop in and enjoy the flavors of "yesteryear". read more

They have an excellent selection of confections. We really enjoy the different popcorn flavors and we return weekly for refills and joined their rewards program. They also offer old candy and gum favorites. Also wanted to point out that their popcorn kernels are excellent and pop up large and fluffy. I love the off the wall specialty colas for sale, the gourmet popcorn (popped or unpopped) and toppings, and vintage candy. The fresh baked fudge is a must too! Stopped on a whim, we had a local popcorn place in my hometown. I have to say everything was very good, but I think the cheddar popcorn could have been a little bit more cheesier. But don't let that stop you, they're stuff is very good. Also the cheesey ranch was good as well, the pickle one tasted just like a pickle!! If we hadn't eaten from the grill my rating would have been better. We had heard and read great things about this place. The store itself with all the confections and unique items was great. Popcorn is delicious, but a little pricey for us. We had heard their hot dogs were great. We were very disappointed when we opened our bag and the bun on the hotdog was stale and cold. The bun broke in two when trying to pick it up for the first bite, when trying to hold the dog in it and continued to break apart in pieces when trying to hold the dog and 2 pieces of bun, we wound up with toppings all over our hands. I finally gave up and just ate the meat. There were a lot of good things about the place but I can't recommend the food. I doubt we will be back. :( read more
