There were flood warnings for that area on the day of the shoot. We didnt cancel & niether did Micah. It was a gloomy day but with the photos he took you would have never known. He asked for an advance in funds in order to purchase a flash drive to put the finished product on. He said the photos and video would be available in 3 days but it has now been over 6 weeks and he still has not delivered the finished product. Most significantly he has stopped responding to my text messages and phone calls inquiring about what is happening with my photos and video. I cannot endorse this business and unfortunately will be filing a claim in court to get a refund, when all I want is the precious photos of my mothers landmark birthday. She gives you digital copies of all your photos, on a disk, which is important. She doesn't hold your photos hostage like some photographers do. She's a great contact for important events but the sort of person you'd actually consider for and do hire for everyday "why not?" sorts of occasions. While wedding planning I had major reservations about paying so much money for a photographer. All of the recommended options seemed pricey to me! However, I was constantly reminded that a quality photographer is worth the investment and you can skimp on things in other areas (such as favors, napkins, etc...). We had a sneak peak of our photos within days after our wedding and received the whole gallery a short week later. Wow!
