I've come here for over a year now to buy gifts for all the women in my life. As a man, buying the women in your life clothes can be a daunting task, but not here! Everyone who works here is extremely helpful and always make sure I know how each brands sizing works so I can get the best fit possible. They're so good, I've yet to return to have to return an item! On top of all that, the quality of clothing they carry is extremely high. My fellow classmate went into shop for some of their products and was Rudely put down by comments from the staff about how 'she could never fit into any of their clothes.' I find this to be a poor and severely outdated way to run a business, not to mention having a staff with such disgusting views. If there's one thing that bothers me most when walking into a boutique with beautiful style and high quality clothes is poor customer service. With clothing at this price I shouldn't ever feel like I'm intruding on a conversation, or interrupting a text on their phone. I was never asked if I was looking for anything or if they could help me (which they would have found out I was shopping for my trip to Europe and ready to spend money). Instead, I just felt judged and they made me feel like it was a relief to them when I walked out the door so they could get on with whatever gossip they had to talk about. I've shopped here several times before when I used to live in Olympia. I was in town just for the day today and purchased a jacket. I was emailed a receipt because they couldn't print one, and no where did it state the return policy. The girl that rang me up never said a thing about returns. I went back about an hour later to return it and was told they don't do refunds, only give store credit. I'm very upset because this was NEVER told to me. And I'm leaving town today so I had to buy something I didn't even really want so I didn't get left with a gift card. Very disappointed in the customer service and definitely won't be shopping here again. read more

I couldn't help but scream in girlish delight when I walked into Sweet Life the other day (I had to stop myself from rolling around on the floor in glee). The shop is overwhelmingly cute but also sophisticated and chic. The displays are luscious, everything is like a decadent candy-coated cake. There is obviously a lot of thought that goes into the buying and merchandizing here. This is easily one the best shops in Western Washington. read more

Today I was falsely and rudely accused of shoplifting by the woman working here (I believe the owner) because she was incapable of keeping her store and fitting rooms organized and neat. She followed me outside to my car and insisted that I open my purse. When it became apparent from my shock and the small purse I was carrying that I did not take anything, she did not apologize but continued to insist that I account for the empty hangers from the fitting room, which was full of them when I entered it. It was ridiculous and offensive. I have been coming to this store for about six years since I was in high school and have always returned when home on breaks from college in Los Angles. Safe to say I will NOT be returning and have already asked my friends (all graduating from college like myself this year) and my mother's friends to do the same. read more

Very girly store with some of the cutest little girl clothes I have ever seen! They carry a good deal of the higher end trendy brands like Betsey Johnson, Juicy Couture and Free People so obviously the prices are going to be above average. That being said, they carry the newest and cutest stuff and have a good selection of Betsey Johnson handbags as well, I tried not to drool on them! If I could bring myself to spend more money on clothes, I would definitely splurge here, they have some great stuff. read more

My wife can't stop shopping at sweet life as well as talking about it. I thought I would surprise her by stopping by and picking her up something as a surprise. I was a little confused on size and what she wanted but determined to get her something that she would enjoy. Erin at Sweet Life took all the confusion out if the process for me. She helped pick out a few great things and knew sizes I needed. My wife was very excited and I looked like the hero. I love Sweet Life! I tend to begin shopping trips closer to home, but more often than not it's in vain and I end up making the 40 minute drive to Sweet Life. They have such a nice variety of styles and are constantly adding new pieces. Everyone that works there is also super friendly and helpful. Though I generally love the clothes they have here, their customer service is horrendous. I looked up their store hours and it said they were open until 6. To beat traffic, I rushed over to make it by 5:30 and walked up to the door to head inside. There were two GROWN WOMEN working / doing side work next to the glass door but when I went to open it, it was locked. The two women looked at me, and went back to what they were doing. So they close whenever the f they want to (unreliable) and don't even have the common sense to say oh sorry we're closed right now! Pathetic. read more

I was super excited to find this darling boutique. Being new to the area from the East side has left me a bit dismayed with shopping, I stumbled across this as I was driving by. Great displays, cute store, fantastic clothes. Terrible customer service. I walked in and was completely ignored by the girl working the floor. No one else was in so I figured she could have mustered up a brief hello but nothing. I had to approach her on multiple occasions to ask about sizes and styles, I was lucky to get a mumble. Completely rude. I spent quite a bit because I loved the inventory but not again. I was shocked by the poor social skills exhibited, come on, it's retail. I would imagine the other employees can get their noses out of their phones for a second to help. The only thing I heard clearly was "all sales are final" - no problem, I'll drive to Tacoma.
