So yea I was excited to see the cupcake food truck at a local food festival. I ordered the cookies and cream and lemon blueberry cupcake. Just when I tried the cupcake, I was pleasantly surprised that both cupcakes were filled, however the cake itself was bland, the icing was also bland and the blueberry filling tasted like something out of a can. Oh and the cookies and cream cupcake was filled with an oreo cookie but that did not save the taste of the cupcake by no means. Ugh it's really difficult for me to give such an honest review because the lady was very friendly and she's is a small business owner which I support, however I will say that with a little tweaking of the recipe, it may give the beautiful and creative cupcakes some hope!

I found a plethora of local bakeries to choose from online, but only called 1! Sweetest Rose. The pictures on her website told me she would be the one. I reached out to Kendra by phone (we were both driving). We had a quick chat, then exchanged texts that evening. A few back and forth the following day and then OMG! She suggested that she make cupcakes to match the centerpieces which was a brilliant idea. And offered to come to the venue and set them up. Here are the pictures. On our second visit we ordered: 6 strawberry crunches 2 vanilla 1 chocolate on chocolate 1 red velvet 1 banana pudding 1 circus ...all were delicious! Cupcake Kouture Bakery cupcakes are made with love...seriously we could taste the love in them. Inventory is limited. There is not a lot of overstock; which is to be expected with a new small business. With that being said I would recommend placing an advance order. I believe they can also be found on a third party food delivery services as well (if delivers are within range of their shop). Can't wait to check them again.
