My mother and I met with Shanna and decided to give her a try (she was to manage my mom's retirement accounts). In the first few months she seemed to be doing ok, even though the lines of communication weren't the greatest with her. BUT, to be fair, her assistant, Emily, was always fantastic to deal with. Then she went dark, and after some not so nice emails from my mom, she told us if we want to schedule reviews with her that we need to go online and schedule through a link she provided. Now, that information would have been wonderful to know at the start rather than being treated like we were junk on the side of the road. Also, I had to do some pushing to get recommendations on whether or not some stock should be sold and what she had in mind for purchase. Not exactly the way this "financial advisor" thing is supposed to work.
