Omg how much fun was this place. I just did another review about a bar, and it was a bit boring. We arrived here before they opened, one bartender for the evening! Crazy right! This is definitely a neighborhood bar cause everyone seemed to know each other. Everyone walking buy was waving to others, even an ex coworker back in the day, I saw... it's been 20 years. This place feels like a speakeasy but with none of that other stuff. All the walls are covered with stuff, lots and lots of stuff. The bar itself looked like it sat maybe 10 people at most. The place didn't feel that big. They do have a pool table and a couple of cute places to sit and have an intimate conversation. They have a parklet and a couple of tables right in front. People were nice but you can tell this place makes strong drinks, they were all pretty tipsy. They do have food, but it's very minimal, and yes it was again just the bartender having to deal with everything. They had small bar items, a small little kitchen, with an oven to make pizzas. They have a great drink menu, the specials are on the board. I had their basil daiquiri and let me tell you! Yum!! It was perfect, had great flavor. Just the right amount of sweetness, made with love. Whenever someone thinks of daiquiri, they think of a mixed, slushy, drink with whip cream.. this is an original daiquiri This place was reasonably priced, about 10 bucks a drink! Crazy for the city.. been paying $18-$20 for a cocktail! My favorite part was the Buddha! You have to come in and immediately rub his belly!

Stumbled upon this bar after walking back from dinner. Not hard to miss at night since all the holiday lights. Has a lot of unique art inside. Love the stone Buda Statue. It is dark and eclectic in here. The bartender was annoying like the soup Nazi on Seinfeld but cute. Not sure if she is Sweetie. Beer selection was Ok. They look to be better at cocktails. Still good to know another cool dive hangout close to hotel.

Randy and Amy were great! Fair prices and quick service. My group and I had an absolute blast. Lovely environment, clean bathrooms. You will surely have a good time if you decide to stop by. Definitely a north beach staple.

I just LOVE this place, even when you're a block away you see their gleaming green lights almost like a mirage awaiting...but it's not! It's sweeties bar! free pool, nice simple food selection (I've only ever tried their bowl of olives, so good) and usually a nice rotation of art to either buy or just marvel at. Bartenders are super casual and down to earth, reminiscent of a faraway SF that still exists in this establishment. I believe they have live music every first Friday of the month in the parklet area out front. Really nice but easy to miss gem in north beach.

What a cute little bar! Wanna play a round of pool? They got you. See some random art? They got you. Just wanna sit at the bar on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and just read a book? No judgement here, cuz this bar will help you out! Fun cocktails, bar nuts that they whip up themselves... what more could ya ask for???

My bf, cousin, and I stopped by here after work. We were looking for a chill, dive bar and this place was perfect! Ambiance: It's dive-y but still looks nice. No weird smells or overly sticky floors or tables. There was a group at the bar and a few people playing pool. There was also a very cute dog there who loved sitting next to us as we ate dinner. Service: The bartender was welcoming and friendly. We ordered our drinks and food at the bar and she brought everything out in a timely manner. Drinks: I had the Sweeties Sling and Basil Daiquiri. Both were good, the latter was stronger. I'm sure they can make anything you ask. Food: We ordered a Mushroom and Sausage pizza, the Shepherd's Pie, and Mac 'n Cheese. The pizza was solid. I liked that it was super cheesy. The Mac 'n cheese was good too. The top middle got burnt though so we ate around that. I wasn't too sure about the shepherd's pie because I'm more of a chicken pot pie girl, but it was really good! It's green from the tarragon (I'm assuming) in the potatoes which we didn't know beforehand, so it looks odd but trust me..it's tasty! I would come back for a chill night. Being able to play pool is also a plus.

What's an "Art Bar"? I have no clue, but whatever the definition is, I like this one because it is in my neighborhood and it has been a wonderful gathering place for neighbors, locals and visitors. On an average day (COVID era being an exception) there is a crowd standing or sitting on chairs outside engaged in conversations. Inside there is a long bar, where I would prefer to park my rear end, and a couple of tables. They also have a pool table inside. The Bar Tenders are just awesome, especially if you get to know them. And even more importantly, they make awesome drinks. You can also order some snacks. Bar snacks include pizza, black bean and cheese dip with chips, roasted cashews. Stop by next time you are in North Beach and have a cold drink!

Great neighborhood spot. They have a dog, very cute and friendly. As an out of towner it was refreshing.

The lady at the bar (Vianca) was mean and condescending, continuously made sarcastic and snarky comments at our group.

What is even better is seeing creators from around the world come to San Francisco for the Game Developers Conference. I attended the "To the Supercell Game Changers Women Driving The Industry Forward" event at Chandran Gallery around the Union Square area of San Francisco . It's good to see the diversity of people from different countries like Finland and Germany developing games for the masses and growing their brand. I also enjoyed the space which had delicious food like sushi and an open bar with wine , curated alcoholic drinks and music to enhance the experience . A good art gallery space to see art and to attend events. The event was multidimensional and influential. The good vibes inside are contagious and the gallery space is very spacious A space for artists to display art which is courageous and audacious

Yes having Dolores Park as your school yard and the place to spend your lunch period and some after school activities was happening all four seasons of the year not just on April 15 or 4/15 now also known as 415 day. The corporations and other entities start capitalizing on some underground fun. Now it's celebrated throughout San Francisco with people wearing items and gear which has something San Francisco on it. How I still celebrate it is going to a park in San Francisco with a favorite adult beverage currently it's a bottle of Pinot Noir for Don Juan Pinot Noir. Whether Dolores Park or Golden Park you can represent all four seasons in San Francisco by visiting that Park Life. On an April stroll in San Francisco finding where to park on Clement street can sometimes be a challenge in San Francisco. You can see people camping out for parking spots on Clement street ( like at Costco in SF). Park Life is a store on Clement street between 3rd and 4th Avenue which has items with themes of San Francisco. You will find art and stationaries. You will also see bags ,clothing, and hats with San Francisco on it that don't look like you picked it up at a souvenir shop at the Tourist trap in SF. You will also find some interesting books inside. There is a small art gallery in the back of the store . This is a good place to get a treat for yourself or grab a gift for others and have fun at a local San Francisco park . Whether it's Golden Gate Park, Duboce Park, McLaren Park, Mount Davison Park, Sue Bierman Park, Lafayette Park, Precita Park, Bernal Heights Park, Alamo Square Park, Washington Square Park, Dolores Park, Franklin Square Park, Presidio Tunnel Tops Park or Glen Park , etc. This place in San Francisco is all about that Park Life. Born and raised in San Francisco I am straight out the"golden gates "to me it's always San Francisco and I only call it the other term which is SF I am not the one who "participates "calling San Francisco different nicknames on social media or in person"debates" I just know San Francisco is the best city in the "United States" Go take a stroll to San Francisco by the Pacific Ocean and not the" Hormuz Strait" to the day I like to "celebrate" in San Francisco on April 15 also known as 415 but there is also another" date " I partake which is on June 28th also known as the other San Francisco area code the "628"
