I received an email from Rollasons flowers on February 3 saying now is the time to order for…read moreValentine's Day as every bouquet is in stock and to beat the last minute rush. So on February 3rd I ordered $200 mixed red and pink roses along with wine and chocolates to be delivered on Valentine's Day Got email back within a few minutes of ordering saying order is confirmed. That was February 3rd. So, thinking that I got my order in early and everything should go smoothly so I won't have to worry last minute. Fast forward to Valentine's Day February 14. 11 days after I placed my order I get a phone call from Rollasons at 4:15 pm telling me they are running out of flowers and would I be ok with substituting the red and pink roses for white roses or carnations? I was dumbfounded and explained that I had placed my order on February 3rd and should have been ahead of most orders. She proceeded to tell me they are doing their best to fill the orders in the order received. Instead of just saying we made a mistake and your order got mixed in which obviously happened. So, I said well might as well put the white roses in as I wanted roses however white roses don't have the same meaning. She advised they would probably add a few more roses than normal like that would make a difference instead of offering me a discount on my order or anything like that. It was obviously too late to cancel my order and go somewhere else as I am sure everybody would be out of flowers and I am at work hoping that my wife got her delivery earlier in the day. This has completely ruined my Valentine's Day and I have shopped at Rollasons a few times in the past but never again. Thanks for nothing Rollasons. $200 for a boquet of white roses on Valentine's Day?? I don't ever write negative reviews like this because most places are professional and would resolve the matter better than this. Do better. It's now 530 pm still no delivery. 7 pm no delivery or phone call or anything. Received phone call at 810 pm saying they were not able to get my delivery out today because they were swamped and down two delivery drivers and had lots of walk ins. Asked if I would be ok with delivery next Tuesday . Advised again that I had placed the order on February 3rd to ensure I got what I ordered and should have been probably one of the first few deliveries of the day. Needless to say I obviously asked for a refund. Brutal customer service. Not to mention the fact that they could have called me before closing advising they wouldn't be able to deliver today maybe I could have picked them up myself before they closed. It's like that seinfeld episode where he reserved a rental car and when he went to pick it up they had no cars.
