We had the mozzarella and tomato salad (caprese) as our starter. It was fresh with juicy tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. As my main,I had their signature Giorg fettuccini. The pasta was the right texture and the sauce was thick and creamy, like alfredo. I was imagining a thinner sauce, but it was still good. My husband had the lamb. Wow it was definitely a generous portion and tasted amazing. I could not believe how much we ate. We had two desserts (we are about 3 bites away from a heart attack by now), the cannoli and flourless cake. Id go back there just for the flourless cake. Cannoli had a taste of baking soda, maybe it needs to be reduced in their recipe. My favourite thing about this restaurant was the music. If you have watched The Notebook, you will know what type of music in talking about. Romantic music from the 40s. I LOVED that. Overall its a great restaurant, i dont know what could be keeping people from going to this restaurant. The price puts this restaurant into a "special occasion/ fancy date" category. We decided to split all of the meals and started with a beautiful crostini with a pea puree and prosciutto. Next, we ordered the seafood pasta and it had a great garlic-filled light taste. The perfectly cooked short ribs were the highlight of the meal on a beautiful bed of garlic mashed potato and summer root veg. The reduction on the plate was tangy and sweet and was perfect for this meal. Anna helped serve and her recommendations were perfect. An amazing atmosphere with service that was second to none! We will be back again for this great little gem of an Italian fare!

Take a newspaper-style catalogue of their offerings, and you'll quickly realize that truly anything handy you want to learn, they teach! Want to learn how to finger weave? Build a chair? Make sausage? Make a boat? Bread? Embroidery? Basket-weaving? There are SO many awesome courses here on truly every topic, specializing in ancient traditions and handicrafts. Inside, you can purchase handicrafts (many even made by students of the classes themselves!), books about said skills, and other Nordic heritage related goods and gifts. I myself bought a product from them today, after getting help from an employee (not kindly), and get home to discover it is the wrong product, but because the packaging was opened I am not allowed to return said product. Prices of pieces can range from $10-$130 (from simple and tiny to large and intricate). Prices may seem a bit expensive at first (~$22-24 for a mug), but this price includes all associated costs as well (paint, firing, other supplies) and the amount of time it takes you to sit there and finish it. Overall, very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting.
