I'm 76 years old and have seen many physicians over the years, and I can honestly say that Dr…read more Bader Kfoury is one of the most intelligent, thorough, and genuinely invested doctors I've ever had. She doesn't limit herself to one narrow issue and she looks at the whole patient and considers every factor affecting your health. That level of attention is rare. At my last visit, she even suggested a test I might want to discuss with another specialist. To me, that's a sign of a doctor who is thinking ahead, not "overstepping." Some reviews describe her as rude. In my experience, what people may be interpreting as rudeness is simply her expectation that patients know their medications and take ownership of their health. I don't consider it rude for a doctor to correct misunderstandings or emphasize accuracy as that's part of responsible medical care. I'll also add something that may be uncomfortable but true: We live in the South, where there are unwritten expectations about how people "ought" to speak with soft tone and a certain cultural style of politeness. Dr. Kfoury does not always follow those Southern conversational norms. She is direct, factual, and focused. Some patients may interpret that through a cultural lens and assume it's personal, when it may simply be a difference in communication style. I also want to address a recent negative review written on behalf of another patient. I wasn't present for that visit, so I can't speak to anyone else's emotions. But I can say this: I have never seen Dr. Kfoury behave in a way that was unprofessional, uncaring, or dismissive. She has always been direct, attentive, and thorough with me. Medication changes, hospital records, and multiple specialists can easily create confusion. Clarifying timelines and correcting errors is not "aggressive" rather it's necessary for safe treatment. My long-term experience simply does not match the claims that she is rude or insensitive. She has consistently treated me with respect and has shown a level of thoroughness that is increasingly hard to find. In my view, Dr. Kfoury is an exceptional physician who cares deeply about getting things right and that's exactly who I want managing my health.

This is an update to Stan D. This was not my sisters first…read moreappointment with Dr Kfoury. I'm actually the one that referred my sister to her as she treated another one of my sisters and we were very fond of her. We actually liked her directness and extreme attention to the overall care she displayed. My sister Judy even expressed often that she appreciated Dr Kfoury's directness. However this visit was nothing like the other visits my sister had with her. If you read my review it stated that. Plain and simple she was unprofessional this visit. But I'm glad you enjoyed your visit! Whether you disagree with my review that I wrote on behalf of my sister is irrelevant. We do not dispute that she is a a very knowledgeable and thorough doctor. That's why I referred my sister to her. It still doesn't excuse the experience my sister had on her visit! And to suggest that because we are from the south we don't know the difference between professional and unprofessional behavior..... seriously?????

After meeting with Dr. Cestia & his nurse Dawn, I finally feel like I was listened to and spoken to on a level I can understand and meet him in the middle on my health care needs. He didn't hurry me or placate me with trying me on this or that trial medication. Nor did he start giving me suggestions on other doctors that I should go to based on my health care concerns due to their specialties. So many times I've found that doctors are doctoring to make lots of money or too afraid TO doctor based on restrictions placed on them by insurance or government. I cannot thank this doctor and staff enough for seeing me as a human being just wanting to be well so I can be a better person to other people that are counting on me.

Todsy was no exception when I saw my doctor for a routine exam. The nurse I saw ranked the worst ever in attitude and questioned why I needed to use the bathroom during the exam. I arrived ready to provide a sample but when she said she didn't need one, I had to TCB. She was aptl absolutely awful. The lab tech who was very experienced and obviously good at her job, was sweating out loud "God damnit" because she rushed through the tests and realized she'd forgot one. Doc was also not on his game today either - forgetful and not well prepared for our appointment. The facility feels old and dingy - it's just not a positive and healthy environment for positive and healthy people. it's really sad that the healthcare system is so bad in this city and state. Thinking it's time to change things up.
