I could hardly find one on trip advisor too. So...after a few google search I finally opted to go with Budget rental car. Although it was a few miles walk from my hotel, I felt that it was going to be my best bet. Before my trip to Sydney, I made sure to print out my confirmation page showing every detail of my reservation. Once I got to the place, I showed them my confirmation email and provided my drivers license. The attendant went over every detail and finally told us to meet us at the pick-up area. It was a small walk up to a garage. And just like that, we got our small nissan car. The service was great and there was nothing to complain about. Thank you Budget rental car for making our visit as easy as possible. I highly recommend this place.

No problem, just ring them up. The online rental process is easy and fast. It should not take you more than 5 mins. Whenever I go to pick up the car, I wait no more than 5 mins because there are many counters/ staff. Within 10 mins, you should be able to check the rental car, sign some papers and off you go ! I would highly recommend it to anyone (local or tourist) ! 2 thumbs up :)

The price was pretty competitive. The service was easy to deal with and the terms clearly explained. You can even end up reducing the $400 excess to $50!!! I likey this option. Nevermind that on my way back from Lismore I got pulled over by the police at 1am - in all honesty I would have pulled me over too. As I was driving slowly, stopping at green lights and trying to figure out where I was. When did North Sydney get so confusing? Suffice to say, these guys are helpful, handy and cheap if you want a car to do low mileage with you can get a cheaper hire rate. Plus they made pick up and drop off a breeze as they have after hours drop off too.

We were told to return the car to an offsite parking lot as the Enterprise for the International terminal was being renovated. Due to make a flight back to San Franciso we spent more than an hour trying to find this so-called parking lot. GPS took us in circles around the area looking for this location. We called the Enterprise number and they couldn't provide an exact address they were asking us if we could see a McDonalds or a gas station that was near the lot. After asking people on the street if they knew the location we found the lot, a darkened parking lot with one employee who told us the domestic Enterprise office would take the car at the airport. He told us to take it back to the airport as there was no transportation from the parking lot to the airport. I couldn't believe it. We almost missed our flight. The stupidity of the original representative on Pitt Street to send us to that parking lot was the epitome of incompetence.

Most of the rental companies are by the airport and we didn't want to go that far to get the car. Enterprise is 1 subway stop from the Central Business District, so that was convenient. Beyond that, they let us pick up the car then drop off the key after hours, which was great; everybody else required us to keep it overnight or return it before they close. Overall Enterprise was very accommodating. They normally would deliver the car to my hotel, but they didn't this day because it was Sunday and they were short staffed. Bottom line, these guys are great and I'd recommend them.

The overall experience with this company was bad, the process of take over and hand over was poorly executed. I wrote and provide reasons but to no avail. They almost wanted to charge me for interior defect. I wish the company well but will give a miss in future.

Our plane was delayed so it meant I needed to walk across the road to Bayswater Car Rentals to hire a car for 24 hours until they opened on Monday morning...... Hetrz HQ was useless eg yes I could go to the airport location to pick up a car but because it wasn't "my car I had booked" I would have to pay the higher rate eg day rate (not an option as was hiring the car for 21 days). Car was nice and in new condition though when we did come back the next day.

Not only that, but if you have any damage at all you have to pay them $5,500 immediately when you return the car. They don't find out how much any repairs cost, they just charge you $5,500 right away and say that they will refund you the difference if the repairs cost less than that. Don't expect to get much money back if any at all. They obviously hire an associated company that costs way more than it should to repair anything. If I was in America it would've cost me 1/3rd as much to repair at the most. When I communicated to them that the repairs were way more than they should be and that I would be reporting them to my credit card company they maliciously threatened to get money from me by other means. I'm disgusted and urge you to spend your money literally anywhere else. Oh yeah, and they also put a $1,000 hold on your card when you arrive right away too if everything else wasn't enough...

You have to drive 15-20 minutes away from the airport to get there! 2. If you book through a third party website it takes about 45 minutes to resolve any problems (like a simple name change on the booking). 3. Unfortunately, I got a speeding fine while driving one of their vans (my bad). East Coast Car Rentals charge $55.00 just to send you the speeding fine. Ridiculous. 4. I made a complaint about the whole experience a month ago. They haven't got back to me.
