I was sent a receipt for my month of classes and only managed to attend one class which was enjoyable. I quickly realised it was unrealistic of me to think that i could attend regularly due to many personal commitments and thought I would wear the cost of that one month and not sign up for another month. 6 months later I am reconciling my credit card and discover I have been billed for a further 5 months. Not a single receipt since the one that told me my classes expired on the 24/11/14 and no follow up in 6 months on why i was paying for something i wasn't using. When i rang them to ask what was going on. They basically told me I had made a mistake and it was irrelevant that i hadn't gone to any any classes and I would have to wear the $900 I paid for one class. I went back through the sign up process and still stand by my understanding that I was paying for just one month. Their terms and conditions on signing up do not fully display on the screen and I only saw the bottom two points. At no point did it mention my credit card was going to be debited for ever more until I noticed and gave them notice of cancellation. Time and time again it highlights that the classes expire a month after initial payment. There is a 3 and 6 month option that is significantly cheaper than their (in their view) ongoing monthly option. How does that work? So how did the team at Latin Junction respond? Did they offer me a refund or apologise for their confusing website. No, they have now banned me from all future classes and haven't even offered to refund me this next months $150 which came out of my account yesterday. They did however suggest that if I knew any 'nice' people they might be able to give them some sort of voucher. Great customer service guys........

That was a bit overpriced for the size, but the sweet potato fries especially were very good.

There was hardly any discipline there. students seemed to just talk and muck around. the head instructor was hardly taking the class. Its got a good location but apart from that, Value for money wise, it was a total waste of time and money. I think because it does have a good location they charge alot more. and because there are lots of students, there is no real discipline there....you dont really learn much there.

Not only can you play bowling, but sing you lungs out - with a full bar to help you out. There is also laser tag for those who are inclined for that. The staff here are extremely friendly, and willing to assist the demanding people asking for them to constantly change the volume of the music. Sure we sounded awful, but hey, this is karaoke.

So yes, it can get a bit boring, seeing as it's not the most fast paced of activities - hence why it's generally played by the elder generation - but it does help if you're in a decent location to play and I don't think you can do much better than Clovelly Bowling Club when it comes to that. Basically, it's set right on the edge of the cliff, so much so that if there was a landslide in the area, I probably wouldn't be heading down there for a game the next day. The view is magnificent, which helps when the game gets a bit dull, and who doesn't like drinking with a view!? The beer selection is limited, but has the standard ones at decent bowlo prices, while there are gas BBQs next to the greens, which you're free to use. So we did. Ball rental is included in the price of the game (although to be honest, I can't remember how much that was!). So if you're planning some bowls-based party, give this place a go - although you may want to check the weather forecast first, I imagine bad weather would be rather unforgiving up there!
