Horrible job! Don't spend your money here. You literally have to watch everything that they do, because if you look away, you'll realize that they didn't clean under your nails, or scrub your feet for longer than 5 seconds. It really gives Vietnamese nail salons a bad reputation - all they care about is doing your nails as fast (with as many short cuts) as possible to get the next person in the chair! They filed my nails unevenly, left dead skin hanging, barely scrubbed, didn't use moisturizer, did an uneven polish job and seriously complained when I pointed out these issues as asked them to fix it! I recently moved to Bondi from the states and I've been looking for a great local place to get my nails done and stumbled upon SPN. Awesome location (1 block from the beach) and I was able to walk in without an appointment. It was relatively clean and my nail Tech did a great job with my Shellac manicure ($35 total). She was super patient when I changed my nail color 2 times after seeing it on one of my nails. That was amazing customer service in my opinion. There only downside is that I had to ask her to redo a few cuticle areas, and there was no hand MagSafe with lotion...but she was quick to fix my nails when I pointed out the issue. I will absolutely be back. They also offer waxing services in a private room in the back. Nothing fancy but the girls who work there seem to know what they are doing from the people I saw after their eyebrow appointment! read more

Horrible. My wife went into this place after we said she wanted a simple mini pedi. We made sure they would wash her feet a little before starting cause of all the walking we did. I left her to go get food. Right after I left they told her I said to get the full package , total lie. Luckily she didn't fall for it. No wash just a halfassed wipe down and still dirty. Then they said after the fact that my wife picked an "extra shinny" color and that's an extra 5$. read more

If you are looking for the dirtiest and most impolite service then this is the place for you. I'm not one to write reviews but I made the mistake of going here due to it being last minute and unable to go into my regular place in the junction. I called and asked if I could be seen in 30 minutes and that it would be ok if not as I can call somewhere else. She insisted I go in. I waited over 15 minutes and then when I went into the waxing room it was absolutely disgusting and the service since walking in was the worst ever received. I couldn't go through with it and was stuck without a wax and not enough time to go elsewhere. If I could give 0 starts I would. I even had to ask her to change the tissue table!! read more

The worst nail salon I have ever come across.. avoid at all costs!! I got SNS overlay done On my first visit to this salon. Everything seemed fine when I had the treatment although the girl doing my treatment did not have the uniform on like the other staff so who knows if she was even qualified. At the end of the treatement I thought they are not the best nails I've ever had but they are ok. However just a day later many of the nails started to chip and break by the time 5 days had passed I had a total of 6 broken nails. As a regular SNS wearer I usually find my treatment lasts for at least three weeks from other salons therefore I was very disappointed that so many had broken. I decided to return to the salon to request repairs on the broken nails, in the past I have returned to other salons for repairs and they have done this without hesitation and free of charge. I expected this salon to be the same however I was VERY wrong. After explaining that I had the treatment less than a week ago to one of the therapists she informed me I would need to have all the broken nails replaced as they were so broken. There was a man who I assume is the owner sat on the reception desk who stated I had to pay for a full set if I wanted the nails replacing. When I tried to explain that my SNS treatment from other salons usually lasts much longer he continuously tried to argue with me stating there is no guarantee. I explained that other salons would usually offer repairs if it was less than a week since the treatment and he was simply not willing to listen. He became extremely aggressive, coming up close to my face, using a threatening voice and waving a leaflet in my face. After explaining numerous times that I did not want to argue and that I was merely stating how shocking the service is in comparison to its competitors I had to leave as this man was not willing to relent with his threatening behaviour. I will certainly not be returning to this salon it is clear that they do not care a less about customer satisfaction and threatening behaviour towards a paying customer should not be tolerated. It's ironic that during the time I was in the salon there was not a single other customer.. it really proves how terrible this place is. Unless you want to throw money down the drain and have to pay to have your nails redone my proper professionals I would simply avoid this place!! read more

I actually don't know why I bother coming back here. Maybe because it's close? On multiple occasions they've sent me out with a shellac manicure that wasn't dry, the colour is generally always patchy even when they do a few coats or there are air bubbles in the finish. I keep hoping it'll get better because how hard could it possibly be when so many other salons don't seem to have the same issues. Don't be lazy like me ladies. Go somewhere else. They did a shocking job. My acrylic nails fell off after 2 days and I went back to have them re-done. When they were finished doing my nails, they charged me for a new set even though the first set didn't last longer than two days. They never said they would charge me when they started doing them the second time. Very bad job and even worse customer service. read more

I was treated appallingly by the male manager/owner. They buffed my acrylic nails so thin one broke within two days. No problem - I thought - I'll go back and they should fixed that one nail for free. When I returned I was told they wouldn't repair my nail until a week later for my natural nail to grow, and they would still charge me for it! They refused to even take off the broken acrylic without a fee! The man was so dismissive and rude. I walked around the corner to recently opened Ozzy Nails on Hall St and they fixed my nail for $5, no problem. They were so sweet and efficient. Professonal Nails worked on me one other time before this and THREE of my nails broke because they were buffed so thin, yet I still gave them a second chance and was bullied by the manager. read more

This was the worst experience at a nail salon of my life. They were so rude! They did such a half ass job - just wanted to get me in take my money and get me out. She actually really hurt me with the clippers a couple of times too. She did the bare minimum of any mani pedi and I had to ask her - are you going to do this are you going to do that? To which she rolled her eyes and did it. It made me very uncomfortable and I just wanted to leave. I got up went to the counter to let them know I was really disappointed - she didn't care and told me I had to pay. I said it wouldn't be fair to charge me that much when it was the worst pedicure I've ever had and they didn't even do half of the procedure a normal salon would do while actually charging a lot more and she started yelling at me that she didn't care and to pay, she pushed me aside, shut the door to block me in and told me to hurry up and pay. I was standing there crying because I was humiliated in front of the other people in there and because she was acting so aggressive. After a long ordeal I paid, she opened the door, pushed me out and yelled at me to never come back. I still can't believe what happened and strongly warn anyone else off going there!
