So far I am not impressed. If I had read the reviews I would not have used this company. They are never on time to remove the snow when they promise. On Thursday night we had some snow it was enough for them to come and remove it. I had to get my car out. So I removed some of the snow, thinking that they would have showed up but no. They had sent me an email saying that I should remove my car before 9am on Wednesday morning. No show. Next season I definitely will not use them. They are only concerned with getting their money. I would leave no stars if I could, because the unprofessional customer service and approach left me with no words. I submitted a request for a quote on November 1st and received one for a total of 200$. When I called in to officially book the service and pay, I was told the price is 270$, a "promotion" instead of the 320+$ "regular price". When I tried to inquire about the discrepancy, I was rudely told off. When I asked if I can forward back their quote as a proof that I'm not making it up, I was told it doesn't matter because they won't honor it. When I asked why this change all the sudden, I was told in a dismissive tone that "one of the girls must've screwed it up". All of the above shows to me that Syljack does not care about their customers, does not care about their integrity and does not value their own employees. They will not be getting my business, and I highly suggest anyone else to avoid them too. read more

I believe and agree with everything that's being said about this company. They are very unprofessional and very unreliable. We have only had three major storms this year so far and I had to miss a doctor's appointment with the first, call a two truck to winch my car out with the second, and my wife couldn't get to her work with the third! There must be an authority in Quebec that is responsible for issuing permits to these companies that make millions of dollars and jeopardize people's well being and livelihood. I for one, am ready and willing to join up with any other victimized and cheated customers to 1- make an official complaint against them to the proper authorities to save others, and 2- bring up a lawsuit against them to make them pay for any damages and suffrage they have cost. I wish 0-star was an option. Unreliable, unfriendly staff, unable to leave in the morning, car stuck multiple times, by far the worst company. Yes, it's cheaper than other companies, but this is a one-way contract: you pay, and receive little-to-no service in return. Trust me, it's not worth the savings. This company will not only steal your money, they will put you in a bad state of mind. Now you'll get to shovel your own driveway with a couple of hundred dollars less, and swearing while sweating. These people did not show up once during a snow storm. they have one job and can't even do it properly. my driveway is full of snow and they still haven't showed up at 11:47pm. It's insane. Worst service ever!! Didn't pass for 3 days & never acknowledged my emails or calls. It was almost like they were waiting for another snowfall so they would only have to pass once. Horrible service! Decided to go with them this year as they agreed to 20$ less than our current company. What a mistake that was!!!!They never come within their contract hours and when they do, our driveway is never properly done. They came late again today and they only removed the hard snow in between the street and very beginning of our lot leaving 3 cars long of snow! We have tried calling and they never pick up. Our neighbors are with other companies and they do their lots twice a day! We regret not having read reviews first as they have a terrible reputation. Do NOT go with Syljack unless you don't mind shovelling your driveway and stressing about if they came or not during a storm! They should not be in business!!!! read more
