It has a good grocery selection, a makeup section that is pleasing, and a layout that is nice and spacious. I can't speak for the helpfulness of the pharmacy, I have to admit, I already have all my prescriptions and those of my family at another pharmacy. I think that Rexall needed to make this move to get out of the congested downtown area. It is definitely a big improvement from the smaller store it used to be.

I am a big fan of the Shoppers Optimum card because the points can really add up to cash very quickly, especially when I keep my eye on makeup deals and purchase when they are promoted.

I just have to say, the computer/audio-video department at the Red Deer store has a team that never…read moreused to appear phased when asking typical questions as well as a few head-scratchers. But in the past six months, not so much. In fact they were completely unhelpful the last couple times I've been in there. While they sometimes come across as a bit surly, you can still get the more mundane shopping done without irritation. This is based on many visits there. And prices are reasonable.
