The LDA completed an assessment and they identified two significant learning disabilities. And then, most importantly, they offered us hope. They have worked with her to teach her strategies to utilize her strengths to overcome her challenges. We have benefitted from their tutoring services, and we have gained so much insight through their parent coaching programs. We've also learned that we're not alone in our challenges! They've helped us realize there's nothing "wrong" with our child- but so much that is unique about her! Having a child with learning disabilities is an journey down a different road. With their help, we're developing a road map, and we're able to appreciate the view.

I'm here for my friend. I have no experience here, but I have 15 friends, more or less, who come…read morehere regularly. Many of whom do claim its not necessary or they don't learn much. They say they would come in for an hour or hour and a half and do a binder assigned for them. The math pages they get are repetitive and are a repeat of subjects they have done before. The manager okayed my friend to do her non-math homework, and the owner kicked her out with the half-assed excuse of needing the space for incoming students when in 20 minutes they're going to close. Overall it seems like the tutors are hit or miss, the owners don't especially care even giving half-assed excuses to kick students out when it's late, and the math work is mediocre. Yes, its bias since it is a math school and my friend was doing non-math work; however if a tutoring school has space for students to do homework, they should allow it. It's common sense.

Admittedly, I was initially very skeptical of Fit Learning based on the limited information available about the program, and certainly had my doubts based on our lack of success with other hourly tutoring programs. Fortunately, my wife convinced me to take a chance on Fit. After nearly eight (8) months of four day a week sessions, I am delighted to report that my son (who just turned 10) has progressed from reading at a kindergarten level to now reading at a 4th grade level. Furthermore, he absolutely loves to read, and makes it a point to go to bed earlier each night in order to finish another chapter. The remarkable level of progress has motivated us to continue his enrollment in both the Math and Logic programs, and even encouraged us to enroll our younger son in the Summer Logic program. I especially appreciate Fit's approach toward measurable results and overall program transparency. My wife refers to the progress our son has made as "miraculous", but I think that Janice and her team have very high expectations of the program, and are committed delivering on the Fit promise of excellence. So far, she and her team have done just that.

I have seen growth in my friends who came here as well as my own personal growth. And it shows! My friends have all been successful in their endeavors and credits it to kumon. This location has also expanded to a bigger sized classroom 3 times due to the number of students! The director here has many years of experience and the teachers are all very knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make sure students reach their full potential and actively keep parents involved.
