My child is in the 8th grade and with Covid causing unpredictable school schedules, I wanted to ensure he was "getting it". Eclipse paired him with a very talented, qualified and cool tutor. They meet once a week and he looks forward to every meeting. His meetings are virtual so Eclipse is able to pair him with a great tutor and the location isn't as important. When I texted one of the numbers, a different number responded by saying that particular person had returned to college, but they had many more tutors they could pair me with. Ok, whatever, I figured as much, because that tutor couldn't possibly be real. Well I have a 16 year old daughter and their best match was some dude with zero credentials. What the heck?! I make an appointment to meet and discuss things basically and immediately receive a paypal invoice. Red flags everywhere, right?! Well I text this guy the next day (the day of appt) to ask to reschedule as I only have 2 days off a week and they are generally pretty busy trying to get stuff done. He says that's fine reschedules for a week later. The next day receive a text from "owner" saying I owe them for the "cancelled appointment". I wanted to say a lot of things, like why would I pay you for absolutely nothing!?! But I just terminated my relationship at that point and decided to move on. Another red flag, they have operated since 2014 but have ZERO reviews, anywhere?! Well this is why. They are scam artists that are just trying to get people to PayPal them. Don't fall for it, I almost did!

They interact well with children and communicate openly with parents. We have observed this school during class time and appreciate the thoughtful engagement of students in their learning. We love the way the students talk to each other and their teachers. It is a warm, respectful, and joyful environment. Our grandson literally ran into the classroom and settled in from day one. They really care about the students learning and the curriculum is very well designed. My son and daughter have been in Kumon for 3 years and both have been #1 in their class at school for reading and math. During this pandemic, they have been able to use their kumon homework to keep up with and add to their school curriculum. I still feel bad that they are not able to attend public school but at least I have some comfort in knowing they are doing their kumon everyday and will not fall behind when school starts back up. If your reading this and struggling to keep consistency in home schooling your kids during this pandemic, I highly recommend you check out Kumon as it is a very well designed program that gives nice structure to education outside of school for your little ones
