Despite being promised for several weeks in a row that the house would be closing that week, we were threatened with the selling side putting the house back on the market, but eventually learned that she hadn't gotten her clients to sign necessary docs. When a closing date was set for the third or fourth time (not an exaggeration) and looked like it was going to actually take place, Janie was conveniently out of town.
