Working with this company has been THE WORST experience I have had with a retailer in my entire…read morelife. I mean that. I engaged them to install a putting green inside my house. I emphasized in every conversation that I am a high level golfer and that I only wanted the green if it was realistic and if I could work on my putting with putts that moved left and right. They assured me the turf was authentic and that if I ordered special panels we could do realistic breaks. I removed an entire wall in my house to put in a larger green and requested a 21ft by 12 feet green. When they arrived, I said I wanted half the green to be slanted to work on putts that break and half to be flat. WHen I returned home to see the finished green, I was in shock. First, instead of them raising half the green as requested and was promised, the entire surface was completely flat except one, 3ft x 3ft area that was raised. Basically it looked like a small bump. I brought golf friends over with me to see the finished product and they laughed at me. Worthless for practicing putts that break. Second, instead of doing the 21 ft long as I requested, and was invoiced, they decided on their own to do only 18ft. This left exposed floor at the end where I removed the wall. I asked for 21ft to cover that and make the green bigger. Instead I wasted my money removing the wall because they stopped the green 3ft short of where I wanted without even talking to me. Finally, AND MOST IMPORTANT, these guys completely ripped me off. Once the job was done so poorly, I was interested to see if I was taken advantage of. I reached out to two separate firms who install putting greens. I never told them I did the job already or that I was considering someone else or gave them any initial price because I wanted to see what their initial quote would be. One quoted me $6,000 and the other quoted me $6,300. These guys at Diamond turf charged me $9,300!! I paid the guys because I figured I would speak to the manager when the job was done and show him my experience and that we would work something out. When I spoke to him, he basically said "Sorry you are unhappy". They wouldnt even extend the green a few feet to cover where I removed the walls, WHICH WAS MY ORIGINAL REQUEST! So basically I paid literally 50% MORE than I should have, for a huge green that is just straight putts everywhere (waste of space), that is 3-4 ft shorter that I asked for, and that I wasted an additional $3,500 removing a wall for which the green doesnt even extend to and is ugly because they didnt cover the place in the floor where the wall was removed. Honestly, you are crazy if you decide to work with this firm. Their are several other options. DO NOT waste your time and money unless you just want something for 5 yr old kids to hit balls on or your dog to just pee on, thats about all I got for $9,300 I paid these guys. I feel so stupid and my golf friends laugh when they come over.
