I've had my fair share of different acupuncturists. Jaime immediately caught my attention with her amazing reviews online. When conversing with her to see if it would be a good fit, I could tell she was committed to her practice. What has come as a result of the sessions? I have worked on a multitude of things in acupuncture include general wellness, anxiety, low blood pressure and reducing the rash after a spider bite. How did I feel and what treatments did I try? I can confidently say I have seen an improvement in all of the above mentioned areas. I tried traditional acupuncture, using a heating lamp and ear seeds. What has changed my life for the better? Knowing I could count on Jamie into treat a multitude of ailments and also give input on herbal supplements helped keep my mind at ease and enhanced my self-care practice. I woke up between 4 and 4:30 for months and became very familiar with just laying in the dark waiting for the day to start. If you have insomnia, you feel like a zombie. Everything good in life has a bit of a gray cloud over it when you can't sleep. Jobs, relationships, friendships, everything feels like too much energy when you can't sleep and yet somehow you have to show up for them (or at the minimum your job). I did a full work up, all the way to a CT scan of almost my whole body with my doctor at Kaiser, mostly for the sweating. They couldn't find anything wrong with me. I'm very much a massage snob. I get a lot of them and as you can see, I've never reviewed any of them on my Yelp because there was nothing to speak of.
