First, the building itself is fantastic! As Jonathan explained it, it used to be about 300 feet up the hill from where it originally stood, and was scheduled to be torn down. The folks had it moved and renovated into the state it is in now. It's a beautiful building inside and out, and gets you excited about being there. Jonathan's demeanor and professionalism are both top notch. I was able to immediately relax with him, putting me at ease for my appointment. He communicates well throughout the session, from first meeting, through your massage, and after your treatment. He makes sure that your needs are met and that the treatment is adjusted to you. His studio is great as well. Cool colors and pleasant sounds meet you immediately, and the gently burning fireplace provides a perfect warm counterpoint. Speaking of warm, the massage table is warmed and ready for you to relax, and the drape is luxurious and provides for perfect modesty for those that are concerned. Jonathan even had a glass of water waiting for before/after my massage. What a great touch! In short, Jonathan provided the best massage and best massage experience I have ever had, and I won't hesitate to book with him again in the future.

Notably, Wendy is the first in this country to have graduated from an accredited acupuncture institution (NESA), following her father (class of 1985). Her father's tutelage in his practices of both Western and Eastern medicines was a privilege of perspective which Wendy intently absorbed from him. After completing post-graduate studies at NESA, Wendy spent six months in China studying at the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou. Over the years, Wendy continues her studies of material from the ancient classics, and also with accomplished scholars and practitioners who strongly influence modern currents of oriental medicine. Gaining greater understanding in the practices of oriental medicine, Wendy imparts this to her patients.
