Its kinda a pity, since its a pretty cool spot with service minded folks behind the counter. This is a Rock and pool table bar with plenty of tables. They also have a stage, a bar and some pinball machines to get it going if you are not that into pool. When i was there, two of the tables were transformed into a ping pong table which i think is far more fun playing pool! So after we discovered this, we instantly changed sport and awaited a slightly more intense table tennis challenge. Its a pretty laidback atmosphere overall and a big pro is that you wont get that obnoxiously feeling of not being a pro when entering this venue. They have fully rights to serve alcohol and also have food for the hungry one. They have sofas and tables spread around, where you can put your beer or just chill. I really liked this place compared to others, and it really came on top of what i was expecting when i first heard about it. And if you dont want to be that serious about it, this is probably just the right way to go!

This is a cool place with lots of seatings and unique decor which sets the ambience. The comfiest seating is probably one of the round sofas and gives plenty of space for the food. Menu is mainly burgers but they also have a couple of starters, which most certainly needs to be shared if you wanna make it to second course. The burgers are nicely served along with fries so you dont have to add extra for it. Also, they arent to cheap with the fries, they provide plenty of it. I had the "BIG A$$ nacho" to start of with, luckily i shared it, but it was one of the biggest plates och nachos i have ever had. This was a plate full of everything and tasted great so it was truly worth the price. But i think its to big for most ppl to get as a starter, even though you share it. Second course was about to start, my stomach was already stuffed, but I went with Bobs Hot burger with lots of jalapenos. Meat was tasty and juicy, but i wasnt to excited about the bread. It wasnt as soft as i wanted it to be, more of a rustic one. To their defence, i was by now filled up and my apetite was surely discontinued. I visited midweek pretty late and the service was okey, but it wasnt to many ppl there so its hard to judge. I think i need to go there once more, and this time only go for the burger. But for now they will have to relay on their unique nacho plate which was one of a kind.

This place is pretty large and they have the largest screen array I have ever seen but it's all a bit awkward. The table we were at made it difficult to watch the game and feel like we were in a social environment with the rest of our table. The only TV we could really see was the huge array so we all had to turn with our backs to each other. Places like Allstar don't have such huge TVs but they have way more options for different angles to watch the game. The chicken quesadillas were miserably small for 130kr. They were tasty enough though. They often stay open late for big games -- probably not just Boston sports but I was there till 2 or 2:30am one Sunday night to watch a New England Patriots playoff game. So I'm happy there is an option for that here. OBS! They charge like 55kr for a fountain soda. Ridiculous. There is also a bowling alley, arcade, billiards, and stadium seating for a giant projection screen here. Some of it can be a nice distraction while you are waiting for a game or celebrating a win. I guess. Being a Boston native there is something about selling our sports heritage in a country where none of the waitresses would have a clue about anything they are claiming to be about. Anyone from the States knows how seriously we take our sports and you would never walk into a Boston sports bar and not be able to joke with your waitress about a recent game or how so and so is playing. I like that the bartenders are playing what they want and in general it was good music but almost every time I've been the playlist is a bit short and repeats 2-3 times during an average couple hour session. But otherwise, its definitely worth the fun. FOOD: Good but not great. Not a whole lot of variety. Various meats all cooked just right are available. Few side dishes and all root vegetables. We shared the Rurik's Feast so we would get a variety of meats and it was good. I really liked all three meats and it was worth it for the cost. I do wish there were different root veggies like potatoes. I don't know much Viking history so not sure how authentic, but they did have a nice variety of options. They did have risotto for the vegetarians (sure that wasn't part of the Viking staple!). SERVICE: Loved the music. Loved the atmosphere (except for the heat).
