I had been to the Batignolles location several times in the past, but this location is much smaller with just a little bit of tight seating inside plus 2 tables outside that could seat up to 3 people comfortably each. We got lucky and managed to snag one of the outdoor tables. One of my friends ordered the hot chocolate while the other got a chai latte and an espresso. I ordered a decaf iced latte as I was pregnant at the time. When ordering we did have some discussion with the employee as my friend who ordered the chai initially wanted a dirty chai, which the employee explained was just not done there because they have a special chai spice blend that is not well served by adding espresso. When my friend ordered an espresso on the side with the pretty obvious intention of dumping it in himself, the employee looked pained enough that we promised to try both separately before doing any mixing. In the end, the employee was right and my friend conceded that the chai was really wonderful on its own. He described the flavor as being more cardamom heavy than a typical chai and enjoyed it so much he got another one later that afternoon when we returned to Batignolles. Meanwhile, the hot chocolate was really rich and delicious, not too sweet as it was made from a dark chocolate. The elaborate unicorn " latte art " was a nice touch that my friends and I really appreciated. While the drinks were beyond reproach, the service was a bit slow and the space is super tiny so it's more of a takeaway spot. If you're a coffee or tea aficionado, this café (along with its other locations in Paris) is a must-try.

When we first got there, we made our best attempt to transact in French, but the staff behind the counter instantly started speaking English with us. Whether that was out of kindness or our lack of fluency (or both), it was much appreciated. We got matcha latte's and a sort of salad bowl with lots of grains. It was just the right amount of food and caffeine to pull us out of our jet lag stupor. But even if we weren't so tired, we could have very easily hung out their and enjoyed the ambiance for a while. Definitely recommend for a light meal and/or coffee tea, either by yourself or with another (though not a good place for groups.)

There are a few locations of Terres de Café in Paris of differing sizes and this one in Batignolles has the perfect amount of seating and cozy atmosphere to read a book or meet with friends. On weekdays it's a nice and comfortable place to work on your laptop, provided you have your own hotspot (no WiFi here), and on weekends when computers are not allowed the ambiance is much more familial and lively. The coffee is high-quality and the employees are very knowledgeable about the beans and flavor profiles. I've enjoyed all the drinks I've had here, with my usual being a simple latte. They also sell coffee beans and Nespresso pods to go. The pastry selection is typically limited to banana bread, brownies, and cookies as they are much more focused on the coffee, but I found them to be really good anyway. The staff are friendly and make an effort to get to know their regular customers, and the café is very friendly to families and children especially on weekends. The café is conveniently located in Batignolles near plenty of other shops as well as the Mairie.

KB Cafe seems highly recommended and there was a line out the door making me believe I was in for a treat. It's in a cute area with tons of outdoor seating. I honestly think I should've ordered a hot drink so maybe it's on me but the Iced Latte is listed on their menu. Even based on the color alone, you can see that it's mostly milk. The coffee was barely noticeable and I realize they use cold brew instead of espresso. They said they can't use espresso since it doesn't mix well with milk which I found interesting. If you come here, I would stick to hot/classic drinks instead.
