    Very nice.

So I wasn't really expecting anything. Stellar Mind blowing. Or even competent. But good things come in small packages. And around corners when you least expect. And so it was with Terres de Cafe. A very very nice brew topped off with cracking barista art. It is a shoe boxed sized place, more suitable for a friendly Italian style, knock back the espresso, plonk down the cup and dash. But it is worth it to linger over a latte. I had a bite of whatever was in the case as I was stuck in that place of too early for lunch and too late for breakfast. That was ok. But not as earthshatteringly lovely as the coffee. I was interested in the sign outside of the door. They won an award....And the myriad of coffee options left me wondering how they could source that much bean and be such a tiny place. Would I go again? Absolutely. That is why it is bookmarked on my Places to go in Paris list.

    Lovely pour in this macchiato!

In English: "Coffee Grounds." High quality roaster-coffee shop in the Marais. Tiny bustling space with the teeniest bit of a hipster vibe--does that exist in Paris?!

This would be a 5 star review if they had more seating! Like most shops in Paris, this one is small - maybe seating for 4 or 6 inside and 2 or 3 outside. The coffee is fantastic though and the service was great.

    Piccolo latte

Indie coffee shop that has a variety of beans and you can purchase and they grind for you. Had a piccolo latte and didn't really particularly find it impressive. Perhaps the full cream milk used was too buttery tasting.

Situated near the Pompidou Centre on rue Rambuteau, this tiny coffee house is hidden away in a quieter street opp a cute little flower shop. I always come here when I'm in town and need a PROPER coffee. If you like flat whites or if you're used to antipodean style coffee then this is the place to go. They are serious about coffee, nice and strong, properly extracted with the right crema. There's also a variety of beans to buy and take home (yay!). The cafe itself probably only seats 10ppl max (3 seats outside). It's only about 3 metres wide and about the same deep not including the staff counter area. The service is friendly and efficient but there is no table service so you'll have to order at the counter. Yes, they do takeaways if you can't get a seat. And yes, they have a small variety of cakes etc. And no, there's no loo.

Espresso was syrupy and very acidic. Cappuccino was terrible. The service was good but not the coffee. We would not return.

Excellent coffee shop near Louvre. Great iced americano and latte. Comes in a cute glass cup and glass straw.

I ordered a double shot cappuccino. The barista told me I had to respect that the cappuccino could only have one shot.

I started off with an Expresso Martini which was very good and yes this is how it is spelled here and I like that because that is how I always pronounce it. With our drinks our waiter even brought us out fresh olives. Now I'm not the biggest fan but Ashley very much enjoyed it. There was a lot on the menu that I was interested in and they had a number of different cuts of beef but I had to go with the Whole Duck Breast which is also a French classic which I got cooked medium rare but I'm perfect sure that's how they suggest it which is the right way like they do with all their beef too. Ashley and I also split the French Onion Soup. I will say by Duck was very good. Tasty rich sauce with crispy duck skin cooked perfectly. Some of the best duck I have had in awhile. I will say the French Onion Soup though was a little bland. I just didn't have that rich beef broth I am used too. Beside that everything was very good and would for sure recommend going to Café Blanc for a nice menu which amazing French options.

We spoke to a lady who was American but moved to Paris years ago. She recommended the chocolate hazelnut which changed her life. So us fat kids sampled the 6 flavors which the girl brought us inside the business to give us the samples. I then told her large she gave me extra large with 5 scoops. We got lemon ice, coffee gelato, chocolate chip, chocolate hazelnut and the chocolate fondue. Everything was delicious. But I think we were gelatoed out and the lemon ice was amazing ! Everything was good but the lemon stood out. It was just more refreshing as we walked Disney Paris all day then walked from metro to the stores. Then we met the store owner who was really sweet and we chatted for a bit and then said hey do you want something to go? I said no it's ok and then she said here have more lemon ice. My wife and I destroyed that as well. She was so sweet. She said it doesn't make you fat since it's just water and sugar and fresh lemon. I said yeah it will lol. I'd come back.

The ice cream itself was a bit sweet for me personally but was deliciously creamy and had a nice strong roasted pistachio flavor.
