Whenever there was a problem, it was usually addressed the same day, so that our guests can still enjoy the pool. Last year we needed to have our old pump replaced and Pool America recommended a "variable-speed" pump, which can operate at different speeds and has saved us a good amount of electricity costs since installation. The same thing goes for our propane pool heater, which has been replaced with an electric heat pump model to keep the pool warm for our guests in the winter. The technicians showed up exactly when they said they would be there, did a clean job and showed us how to set the temperature on the new heat pump. Used Bella Pool for about a year. Generally OK but two major problems. First, I had a leak from…read morebottom of filter. Bella sent their "repairman" to check it out. Told me he couldn't fix it and I needed a new filter unit ($3,000 - $5,000). Bowersox fixed it next day in thirty minutes for $100. More recently, a new pool tech was assigned. Within three weeks pool is full of green algae. Tech sells me $150 phosphate treatment and $150 new pool cartridge. Pool still looks awful. Hired Ahrens Pool - they come out and pool is sparking within 24 hours, I have to replace brand new pool filter cartridge that phosphate treatment ruined.
