One of my partners got his luxury car tinted by these guys and the work was outstanding... They offer several levels of tint from basic film all the way to a high level ceramic... they spend a lot of time finding out what and how you use your vehicle and then discuss the tint level they recommend based on how you use your vehicle... I needed just the basic level option which was $220 and with tax ended up running a little over $239... they did my door windows at the state mandated legal limit but my other windows they did at limo tint level... truck looks awesome and it really helps as far as cutting down on heat buildup within the cab... I am never one to ever bash a company, but I have never have such horrible customer service, and a…read morebusiness not stand behind his work. I purchase a brand new car on May 6th. On May 7th, I went to Rooster's Clear Bra & Tint. I had tint put on the entire vehicle including the roof. I also asked for a few chrome deletions. He assured me he could do it all. When I showed up he asked me to take a look at his work. I immediately walked up to the passenger door, and noticed he had his logo underneath the tint of the front door. I mentioned that I did not know he did that, and did not like business logos on my vehicle. He said "Why didn't you tell me you didn't want that? I explained that other places I had been don't do that, and I didn't know he did that. He then stated he did that for warranty, and I stated again normally I just get an invoice and keep in my glove box. He told me I would have to come back to have them removed. I walked around the passenger side, then down the back of the car and around to driver's side. I let him know that ne missed a spot on the chrome deletion. He then went to get the vinyl. He brought our a squeege, the vinyl, and a box cutter to use to cut the vinyl off the role. While he was doing that, I looked over the bra and the front chrome deletion. I immediately got upset after seeing that a huge piece of paint was lifted off the car. This vehicle had come off the truck less than 24 hours before. It is located up under the vinyl he place on the vehicle. He stated that it could have been a rock chip and how would he know his guys did that. After discussing more, I made it clear this was not ok. He told me he would take care of it, and then charged me over $1000 for all of his work. I paid, and told him I would get quotes for it to be fixed. I then went back a few days later to have the front tint redone without his logo and gave him the quote I got. He said he would turn it into his insurance. I HAVE YET TO HEAR from him since. Since then, some of the tint has not settled right. I sent pics...no response. So, I took it upon myself to write a google review. Here is what I put and what he responded with. Here are also screenshots of what has transpired between us. I suggest not letting him or his team touch your vehicle. He will not be a respectful biz owner and just own up to what he did. I have respectfully asked for a refund, or for him to have it fixed. It has yet to be. It is clear that someone used a box cutter and cut into the paint. Simple mistake...just fix and take ownership. My job/career have absolutely nothing to do with the fact that someone locally did bad business.
