In 2003 I bought my complete set of kitchen appliances from SouthTowns Appliance at this location…read moreand they would have gotten 5 starts if I were writing Yelp reviews back then. Today, the parts, service and repair people who were in the back have expanded to the entire facility and are keeping up the tradition of excellence. My 19-year-old dishwasher finally wore out. Me, being "thrifty" aka "cheap" priced a new one at Best Buy, Lowes and Home Depot before heading here. Each of them had a model to fit my requirements (24 inch stainless steel front and tub) on sale. None had the one I wanted on display or in stock. I would have to order and wait. Only Lowes had someone in the store who knew how to find a dishwasher in their system without getting help. The appliance department in Best Buy looks like someone went through and shoved everything into a pile. I saved the best store till last. The dishwasher I wanted was on display in the front of the store. The knowledgeable salesperson knew the price and answered my questions. Within a minute I knew the price here was better than any of the big box prices. I ordered my dishwasher on the spot. It was in stock, delivered, and installed at the date and time promised. Bravo!

We didn't even realize they sold appliances but when our old washer broke we called the owner, Mike, and he professionally told us that it wouldn't be worth repairing such old equipment. We bought a new washer and dryer pair from him at very competitive prices and they were just installed by two young men (Alex and Christian) who were excellent. Efficient, helpful and polite. Will definitely buy future appliances from them.

A great place packed with history and charm! There is so much packed into a great town…read more Presidential history (the Millard Filmore House), innovative industry (Moog and Fisher Price still has a presence here). There are plenty of amazing restaurants, a quirky and historical 5 and dime store, a small movie theater, the Roycroft campus and a smattering of other businesses that keep it busy and thriving. Long before Hallmark movies were trendy, people described East Aurora as a perfect "hallmark" town and now there have been several Hallmark movies filmed there! Many businesses have their own parking lots, but there are also municipal lots along with on street parking. It is also a very walkable space. They are also home to Knox Farm State Park which hosts a lot of fun and unique events but is also great for cross country skiing in the winter months. I love East Aurora and feel like it is a little escape while still being so close to home.

I have reviewed this town a few times now. Not sure where those reviews have gone. But nevermind,…read moregives me a chance to do it again. Some 20 miles outside of Buffalo is this very cute town. It has a rich history, Millard Filmore spent a lot of time here and married Abigail, who was from here. Then there is Roycroft. They have a few festivals each year, master artisans have come from here for over a century. It all started from the Roycroft Press. Today it's a welcoming town, just the perfect size. The Main Street is full off small mom and pops. From small bakeries to ice cream parlors to Viddlers. There are nice restaurants of various price ranges in town. There are also some chains, Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts to name a few. And the usual banks and other commerce options. While it's a commuter town in large part, there is also a local business component these days. And a co-op. Street parking, check the meters.
