Our starter died while we were camping at pawtuckaway on a holiday weekend. Called AAA and they said it would be over an hour before the tow truck would arrive. TCB showed up in about 30 min. The driver was patient with us and gave us time to pack a few more items in our car before it got towed. We are so thankful for giving us some grace in a very stressful situation... My daughter was stuck in ice on New Year's Eve. Called AAA and the sent the call to this company. The gave an ETA almost 2 hours out. After those two hours another hour passed. TCB simply stopped answering the phone. AAA said they couldn't get in touch with anyone there. After over 3 hours of waiting we had to go out and handle the situation ourselves. If you are like I am, when you car breaks down, particularly away from home, you understand what a stressful and unpleasant experience it can be. There you with a vehicle that cannot be safely driven. You know no one in the immediate area. Add to this that your cell phone decides now is the time to stop working despite having a full charge. Oh, and yes, add that your AAA service is denied because, according to AAA, you cancelled your account. You know this is not so, but now is not the time to engage in a battle with the company. So you do the only thing you can do, you contact a local tow service about which you know nothing. Of-course, you know you will be ripped off and forced to pay much more than you should. Anxiety reigns. Thus was my situation yesterday. I contacted TCB and connected with a very pleasant person who assured me he would send out a tow within 10-15 minutes. And, surprise, surprise - this is what happened. The gentleman driving the tow was also pleasantly reassuring and quickly loaded my can onto his truck and headed to the nearest Honda dealer some 20 miles away. For some reason, the driver could not verify my credit card, so asked that I simply call the office when I got home (remember the cell phone wasn't working) and give them the information. Can you imagine a company allowing you to take your car without immediate payment?! Oh yeah, the fee was extremely reasonable. I am so very impressed with the professionalism and kindness of TCB. Over the years I have had to rely on tow services several times, some local, some very far from home. My experience with TCB beats all others by a large margin. They are simply the best and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their services. read more
