What it lacks for in size, it makes up for in curation. These booksellers know the Bay View audience and have thoughtfully handpicked their stock to suit. I noticed that they have a few bookclubs--I can't remember all of them but there is one that focuses on books about wine. So, if you're looking to learn more about wine, you may have found your spot. They have a nice selection of social justice books and have a solid supply of graphic novels as well. For myself, I was able to pick up a collection of short stores while I was in. What a gem of a spot! Get to it!

Exactly what I needed as a toddler mom wanting a quiet break before a solo parenting weekend. Friday night in Walker's Point has such a vibe -- the whole neighborhood was buzzing! I buzzed the door, walked up to the second floor, and as soon as I opened the door, the cozy and intimate space immediately put me at ease. I had a table just for myself! The process is super smooth and not at all overwhelming. You get to do your own thing, but the staff are attentive -- they check on your drink, walk you through the candle-making process step by step, and then guide you to the scent bar. Even though I was surrounded by couples and friend groups, it never felt awkward. My drink, New Moon, was delicious! It comes served in a little box, and you get to open it to reveal the drink -- such a fun surprise. My candle turned out amazing, and I can't wait to burn it. The whole experience took about 1 hour and 15 minutes, including around 25 minutes for the candle to fast chill -- just the right pace for a relaxing solo night. There's only street parking, but there are quite a few spots nearby. I parked a little farther away since it was a busy Friday night.

And the opportunity to have your chosen plants planted in your choice of planters on the spot makes it so special, especially for someone like me who can't seem to pot a plant to save my life. The store is heavily stocked but not overwhelming; it takes a while to see it all and decide what all I wanted to get. It is a lot of fun to shop here. Park at the Public Market for the easiest way to find a spot or wait for a spot on the street. I am not sure about accessibility as it is a few steps to get in the front door. I didn't see another option but I also didn't look for one. I hope they have access somewhere but call ahead to be sure.

Well I got lost finding this address but not to worry I made it, lots of parking that's for sure…read morelots was pretty much empty. I walked in and it's a nice space, i mentioned I saw their stuff on Yelp and I sat that right then and there for a reading. In the store not a corner or a private room right there next to the register with a guy sitting there. And someone on the computer, with a lady walking around along with one on the phone, it was a bit distracting NOT PRIVATE AT ALL. It was also timed 15min $20. I decided to give this place a try because I saw them on Yelp events Overall the lady that did the reading was nice but the distraction around me was not good. You would think they ask if you would prefer privacy but I guess they just do readings out in the open, I looked around briefly but left right after the reading. Everything in the store is nice and organized but I didn't look around much just did a quick sweep when I got up and left.
