They're unorganized and messy, but man, is it fun to find a good bargain! Yes, there's more junk than useful items. However, they do carry lots of name brand items for cheap. I don't know why I buy from retailers at full price, Ollie's is where it's at!! From Yankee Candle to Olay and everything in between, you bet your bottom dollar that you're going home with something...and if you're not, you didn't spend enough time browsing. Here are just a few things I've gotten from Ollie's: a Stephen King graphic novel of The Dark Tower for less than $4, a secret Santa gift filled with journals, crayons, colored pencils, and two drawing pads (don't forget the gift bag, tissue paper, AND a card) for less than $15, Yankee candle melts for less than $2, a Yankee candle oil diffuser for less than $4, a large bag of brand-name veggie chips for less than $2, St. Ives body wash for less than $3, a Febreze car plug in for less than $1. I can go on and on. Ollie's has discounts and it's super easy to spend at least an hour here while you bargain shop. The staff here are very nice! There were two cashiers and one floor staff and they all greeted me nicely and were very friendly. Is Ollie's a disaster? Yes. Are the floors uneven and unfinished? YUP. Are you going to save money? Absolutely. It's chaotic good, my guys!

After looking around, I think they've done it. For essentials and things you didn't know you needed until you see it here, this place has got it covered. The name of this store sums it up -- a lot of dollar items and dollar or more-plus things, but none were over-priced compared to comparable places. The last thing asked as I left the store was if I was looking for anything in particular, because he'd order it. Everyone who came in was offered a basket for shopping and if they needed it, assistance in finding something. If it wasn't here, he said he'd order it and for that person to come back next week. They also had a nice selection of books, artwork, and housewares. All of the employees (volunteers?) were very nice and welcoming and helpful. Truly one of the friendliest thrift stores I have been to. The only things I didn't like were how busy it was but it is awesome so I guess it's only fair that so many people love it. I am glad I did, as Cat Angels Thrift Store is the perfect local thrift spot. I am forever looking for lowkey, under the radar-type thrift shops, and this one fits the bill. The space is quite small and well-organized. There are racks of clothing along the walls and a shoe cubby. I really appreciate how neat everything was, and how the clothing was reliably sorted by size. It made the browsing experience really enjoyable. There were lots of unique pieces and good materials. I ended up snagging a pair of Sam Edelman boots for under $20, and they were in great condition. There is a stamp card available as well! You get a stamp for each shopping trip over $20. Once you fill the card, you get $$ off your next purchase (I forget the amount off the top of my head). I am glad that money goes towards a no-kill cat shelter, and will definitely shop/donate here going forward.
