This is sad given the service I recieve as a returning customer. First of all, the atmosphere is less than friendly. Anytime I go to checkout, I am often told the products that I have picked out are not of good quality, and they always send me to look throughout the store to look at other items although I have researched what I am buying and I am ready to checkout. This treatment is mostly from the older woman who works the register. The other employees are usually friendly and very helpful. I find the older woman very intimidating and rude and this makes me dread going to shop there. She also tends to try to avoid giving you the deals that are plainly offered in the store. I am disappointed that this is how I am treated as a returning customer. I am even considering driving quite distance just to avoid the store.

Basically, I waited last minute (we drove from Tampa) but Vanessa was able to get me in. Even given my long hair, Vanessa did an AMAZING and fast job putting together two Dutch braids. My hair is the longest it's ever been and she has been the fastest at braiding it by far. It held up through three nights of sleep and 22 miles of racing, including log and sandbag carries where the braids would get caught under them, two muddy dunk walls and a swim. Was going to take them out before heading back to work but they still look great so I'm leaving them in an extra day! I highly recommend Vanessa if you're looking to get your hair braided quickly in a way that will last!!

After having to reschedule my appointment twice in one day a…read moreweek ago because of Ulta staffing issues, a hairdresser called me at 2:30 pm the day of my 5:00 pm appointment and asked me to come in at 5:30 pm instead. I obliged. I got to the salon counter at 5:18 pm after being dropped off by my husband. I expected I would have to wait, which was fine, but I, an eight month pregnant woman, was not offered a seat to wait in. I instead was told to look around the store while I waited. I again obliged. At 5:30 pm, I walked back up to the counter and stood for five minutes before the hairdresser came to tell me that she would be another 15 minutes and asked if I would mind waiting. I cancelled my appointment. You would think this was a NYC top tier salon for as hard it is to get an appointment. This is Beckley, WV. The total disregard for a client's time was insulting. I will never consider this salon again.
