The return was an online order and I had the electronic receipt with the barcode ready to scan. Krissette says, no it doesn't work like that I need your phone number. Not understanding why since I had a receipt, but I gave it to her. Nothing comes up so she asks me for my email address. I again tried to tell her that she can scan the barcode I had instead of all this hassle. She begins arguing with me so I give her my email address. She then tells me I'll get $3 dollars for the item because it's the current selling price. I tell her no and asked to speak to a manager, as I had a receipt that showed I paid $15 and the return was within the 90 days store policy. She tells me she's the manager. After several back and forth she finally agrees to scan the electronic receipt but act as if the scanner couldn't move to scan my phone without me giving it to her. She then asked me if I wanted to come back when the manager was there to complete my transaction! Ma'am you told me you were the manager!! She finally scans the receipt and the purchase of course comes up with the price I paid. She then says, are you happy now? "Now get out the way so I can take care of the other customers waiting." I told her this would have been a 30 second transaction if she would have scanned the barcode on the receipt to begin with. Her attitude, customer service and knowledge was extremely poor and a horrible representation of a children's clothing brand. I'm so glad I did not have my child with me to experience such rudeness, ignorance and unprofessionalism. Carters please do a better job training your employees! My gripe is that I was waiting for a phone call or notification that my new glasses were ready for pickup. Apparently they use an automated system to send a text message that I never received. If I had not called them 8 days later after ordering my new glasses, I wouldn't even have known they were ready for pickup. The rep I spoke to confirmed my phone number on file was correct. He said sometimes they have issues with the automated system but confirmed they wouldn't have made a call out for me to pick up my glasses. Not the best customer service in my opinion.

Tick Ranger has stood by their guarantee time and time again while doing it in an extremely responsive way. Before we were getting the service we would find ticks in our yard or dogs daily. Now we are lucky to find one or two in between treatments, and if we do find them, they come right back out to make sure they treat the customer well. To some people it may seem a bit costly, but the safety of my family and dogs is in good hands with Tick Ranger. It is certainly well worth it. When service is requested, they are very timely in a response.

In summary, we were incorrectly over-charged on our first round of mosquito spray this week. The price was about double what the original mosquito salesperson, Nick, quoted during our initial conversation. I called to resolve the issue and expected a very mindful customer service solution but instead was talked down to, laughed at, and was told that I must have "misunderstood" in a stellar customer service performance from both Nick and Casey. Here's the wildest part - the original quoted price for adding the mosquito spray was $60 and the incorrect charge was $105. I even offered to continue service at the new price if they acknowledged the issue and resolved the first application cost. Because they weren't willing to do the right thing, I cancelled both my tick and mosquito services - costing them $1550 in annual services instead of refunding me $45!!! Well done, Nick and Casey!!!
