If you are having trouble getting good internet, come on down to the Bayshore mall t-mobile and ask for Joe (or his trained staff). He set me up with an extra strong Hotspot that even got 40 megabits in the mall, where my phone won't get data at all. read more

The T-Mobil store in the Bayshore Mall is not a True T-Mobile Dealership. It is a franchise of T-Mobil, so if anything goes wrong, you are at the mercy of the manager of the store, not T-Mobil. The store's manger recommended that I add a new line to my phone plan in order to get the new Samsung Galaxy phone free. She told me I could drop the line after 3 months and still keep the phone for free. This was not the case and I ended up getting charged over $1,000 for the phone. I called the official T-Mobil company customer service company and they told me to go talk to the store manager. I tired to talk to her, the store manager and she said there was nothing she could do. read more

The staff in this store is fantastic. I went in with a 2G phone that needed a new sim card and even though they were pretty sure they wouldn't be able to help me, they did everything they could anyway, and they the 2G phone works again. T-Mobile says they will take 2G down by next April, but some people want to use their 2G phones right to the end. The other T-Mobile store in town flat out refused to even try to help so that is why I'm so impressed with this store. They didn't think they could get the 2G phone working, but they still tried!! Absolutely useless if you're already a customer with T-mobile and want to upgrade. Was told it would take 30mins to 8 HOURS to upgrade my wife's phone lol - blamed it on their poor wifi connection and said they had complained for a year to the mall about it. Couldn't help with canceling an old number on the account - basically could only sell us a phone - if we had someone else as a carrier, or weren't trying to change from android to Apple. 4 smug 20 yr olds working in a mall that is basically empty - and couldn't help with ANYTHING. I love TMobile as a cell provider. And I even love the in-person experience I get (most of the time).... ....until today... dealing with this store didn't just turn me off from TMobile stores- it nearly turned me off from TMobile in general. STAY AWAY FROM DAKOTA... that absolute rudest "customer service" (if that's what you want to call it) rep I've ever dealt with. He was extremely standoffish and unapproachable to my friend. He was reluctant to help and ended up dragging his feet the whole time. His attitude was quite visible. I was made to call the store to answer some account questions which he was too stubborn to listen to my friend about- and immediately after I fed him the information he needed he hung up on me without warning. You can check my review history- I don't really write scathing reviews singling out people- but I don't see any other option here. The girls that work here gave me A+++ customer service. My phone dissapeared, and frantic I searched the mall but to no avail. Being that I use T-mobile as a carrier, they let me in to use their computer to locate my phone, that we had come to find had been stolen. It was very noble of them to let me use the computer, since the mall/area lacks any public computer or wifi use in an emergency. I HIGHLY recommend this location--friendly, courteous and the store is a groovy pink color. What more could I want? read more

What a nightmare ! Went to upgrade my device last month because my Jump lease was Up and thought i was being taken care of but instead got completely screwed over! Instead of ending my lease and starting a new Jump they took my phone as a trade in and left my Jump lease open. When it came time to pay my bill i realized i was still being charged for my old device that i had turned in and the new one as well. This made no sense to me sense i had turned it into the store. I Went back and they called customer service and i got the run around saying they had lost the phone, then later that they had located the phone and everything would be fixed. Well it wasn't fixed! went back to the store to only find out the employee at the store was the one that had messed up in the first place because it was never turned in to end the lease instead as trade in credit as if the phone was payed off ... Spoke with the store Manager Caleb and was promised the $200 credit from his store for their mistake since i had to pay $500 for my phone service when it normally is $200. he credited me $100 & said to call back in a month so he could give me the other $100 credit since store managers have a limit every month so i did a month later i call and to my surprise Caleb is no longer working there and the new manager says she will call me back. Never did! i have been calling the store every day for a week and at first they would answer and say she wasn't there (they didn't give me her name)& now they don't even answer at all... the lack of integrity and owning up to mistakes is awful!! i am very upset and disappointed bc i personally used to work for a Tmobile store in my hometown Santa Ana Ca. and there we would take care of our customers. We switched to T Mobile yesterday from Verizon. So far no problems they are way more friendly - both in store and on the phone. They will pay off early termination fees and your phone payments if you have them. Totally worth it, and it's cheaper for unlimited! Plus we got Netflix for free for 2 plus lines. Make the switch! I am new to the area and my service with boost was TERRIBLE!!! My parents had At&t so I went their first but I figured why not shop around. The mall had a lot of options like Cricket, Verizon and TMobile and I chose T-Mobile in a heartbeat! My wife went into the TMobile store a few months ago and said that a guy named Jeff really gave her over the top options that she wanted to talk to me about so i said I would check it out. To my surprise he greeted us with a huge smile and welcomed us to his store when we came back. He recognized my wife right away and was happy to see we came back. After a bit of talking he said he would get someone to help get us setup which was super easy. Dacota was right there ready to help and I am glad it was him. There were other ladies talking about personal stuff I won't mention and just playing on their phones. The interactions I had with whom I found out was the manager and Dacota were enough to make my day. They saved me money and got us new iPhone 11s!. I will tell my friends to go see these guys again and would have gave them a great score if I got the survey they mentioned. My only gripe is if someone is more willing to be on their phone and not acknowledge us it may make others not want to get service. The service I got was worth a 5 star rating from my family and hope others get the same! P.s. the free Netflix and free stuff with the TMobile Tuesday app has been pretty sweet so far. I started the T-Mobile wireless which I'm happy about but the person who signed me up over the phone clearly said the bill wouldn't start until I activated the system. That was on 5/20, I didn't even receive the modem, in the mail, until 5/27 and I activated it on 5/31 to line up with the end of my last wireless. However, my bill is showing a start date of 5/20. Even after multiple calls and one person telling me they are going to fix it and two other people saying they will call me back to try to fix it, I still had to pay for a full month of internet on 6/14 even though I only activated it on 5/31 (so- 14 days of internet). I didn't even receive the modem until 5/27. Why am paying from the initial call set up date if I didn't even have the equipment to access the internet until a whole seven days later. Not super happy about that. Especially since the first T-Mobile Specialist told me she fixed it. I ended up just paying the bill so they wouldn't turn it off. Ughhhhhh read more

I had been dealing with customer service over the phone for a few months and was not getting the results I needed. I felt like I was getting the run around. I then went to the bay shore mall T mobile site and immediately was greeted with a smile and a How can I help you today by Dakota Burr. My problem was not an easy one and took quite a bit of time. This did not detour Dakota. He stuck with me the entire time and handled customer service for me. I really felt like I was taken care of. I want to stress that this is a real review and not made up. Dakota is 100 percent an awesome person and employee. I was under so much stress before I came to him and when I left I was truly satisfied.
