We came into the store tucked away in the shopping center near Rays grocery and were warmly greeted by Garth. I explained the situation and he understood our "mission" and was really helpful. He even enlisted Kai the in-house Nintendo expert to help us figure out why we couldn't get the item in the RL item store. Kai spent the afternoon completing the Nintendo update to test the issue and he gave us his number so we could call back in the afternoon to see if his test worked and it did. We returned the next day to follow their instructions. All details aside, we were successful! The Emerald Technologies team was awesome, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I appreciated their efforts to help me with my limited knowledge of Nintendo.

The guy seemed fine on the first visit, but when I politely & calmly raised a concern he became enraged and any attempt to reason with him escalated his rage to saying he would call the cops if I didn't shut up. Background on me: I am one of the most easy to get along with people around and did not get even slightly rude with him. The experience left me wondering if I had met the guy on the worst day of his life when he was going through a mental breakdown from some awful personal tragedy, but after hearing others, that seems to be normal behavior for him. I rarely complain about service... I typically rave or shrug about it, but this was beyond the pale.

From the start, I spoke with Chris who helped me pick the right system. They programmed everything and when it arrived, all I had to do was plug it in and it worked great for over a year. A few weeks ago lightning struck the bridge on my house and destroyed it. Well Chris was able to pull up my original order and program me a new bridge for just the house side since that's all I needed. It was shipped promptly and once it arrived I had some trouble setting it up. I again reached out on their website chat and Chris immediately helped me get it up and running. I'm super happy with the product and support I've had on several occasions. I think people need to understand that with a tech based company, they are busy all day helping customers so they are not able to just answer the phone and jump right on the phone to help you on the spot. Go to the website, get on chat and explain what's going on and they will help you. If it requires a phone call, they will call you as soon as they are finished with the previous customer and help you. Their products are also far superior to anything else you can buy on the market. I'm thrilled with everything I've purchased and also the customer service and support. I'll use them in the future!
