Second time I've been ripped off by Verizon. I traded in an iPhone over the weekend. I was told it…read morewould be $830 trade in value when I brought it in. I took it out of the case in the store. They took all the info. I got my new phone she took it home to transfer the data, and brought it back the very next day. I just got an email telling me the trade in would be $80.00!!!!!!!!! Eighty!!!! The reason? They claimed the phone I've her. Using every day for the last NINE MONTHS was not in use for 60 days!!!! I literally was using it all the way up to 12 hours from the time I retuned it. They are LIARS AND THEIVES. Not just this VERIZON STORE either. This same crap happened to us at the other Hattiesburg store a year ago. That time, they told us $875 each on two phones we were replacing and by the time it was done it was $435 on each! LIARS AND THIEVES. I'm going tomorrow to close out all business with Verizon.

I was met at the door of AT&T by a store clerk and told her I needed a new phone and wanted to put it on my current plan. The clerk stated they did not have my phone in stock and that it would take 4-5 days for one to come in. (It was a Galaxy). She suggested that I go to Best Buy if I needed a phone right away. I thought this was odd, but I went on to Best Buy. The guy at Best Buy told us to go to the AT&T store behind the MidTowner instead. He said the staff at the AT&T on 98 would lie because they only wanted to sign people up on new phone plans. This turned out to be true because the other store said "no problem" and had plenty of phones in stock. This is a scam by the store on 98. DO NOT USE THIS STORE!!!!!! If you go to this store needing a new phone only and not an upgrade or new plan, lie to them and tell them you want to upgrade. See how many phones they pull out then. Shame on AT&T for allowing this type of BS.

I recently purchased a phone and service, they signed me up for two phones and two services and then cancelled one but I still got billed for it as a new line and don't tell me that it was a mistake, they know what they are doing. BEWARE.
