The sales agent, Drake, sold me a phone that turned out to have been reported stolen & blacklisted. I never reported the phone. Another business line was attached to the phone (not mine). I was told the issue had been resolved on 2/8. Fast forward to 8/1, the phone has been reported stolen & blacklisted again. As a result, I am unable to use the service I am actively paying for. I contacted the Macedonia store twice & spoke with the manager, Emily, which refused to help. I have visited 5 other AT&T stores (one being a corporate store in Strongsville), called loyalty 10x, spoke to 10+ different AT&T agents, 4 supervisors, 4 store managers, 4 IT techs & opened 6 fraud cases. All the fraud cases closed & received a email they are unable to help. Going on day 13, my phone still doesn't work and the issue has not been resolved.

We returned to the store and explained the situation to the employee. He was kind and processed my request for a full refund including the phone , phone case and screen protector. He also waived the restocking fee. However there was still an unexplained $43 difference between what I paid originally and what I received as my refund. It wasn't worth arguing with the young man. The tech felt it was related to sales tax. No matter the case , I purchased a broken phone , my gift was ruined , I had to spend time returning to the store and I'm out $43. Just buy your phone from Apple directly like I should have done in the first place. I learned a lesson and I hope this review can spare someone else this aggravation.

I drove to the store anyway, and a tech was going car to car talking as customers were not allowed in the store. Shopping was online, and then curbside pick up. I talked to the tech. The tech thought that the SIM card may not be connecting incoming numbers. I would need to have my sister and her phone with me for service since I was not on the account, as there are passwords.
