Finally a ballpark that seems to beat Wrigley. My wife is from Seattle and I ended up there an extra day and was able to squeeze in half the game before my flight. Seats are so great. I was about a dozen or so rows behind home plate and sat a few rows futher back thinking it couldn't seem as close as they make it seem. They make the best ballpark experience. The design is nice and made me rethink my whole "retractable roof" takes away from atmosphere opinion from Chase Field in Arizona. Food, drink, and shopping options are great. The staff is very friendly as are fans. The salmon race is fun to watch and Mariner Moose is adorable. It was Star Wars night so it was fun to see the storm trooper and Darth Vader as well as Mariner Moose being dressed. Mariners scored well in first two innings but Yankees caught up with my former Cardinal favorite Paul Goldschmidt giving Yankees the lead. Then I was out of there. Oh well. read more

A good park. Unfortunately, a combination of factors, some park-related, some fan-related, detracted from our experience. Background Attended an August Saturday late-afternoon game, the Mariners played the Cubs. Sat in field level, first base side. Sunny weather, temperatures in the low 70's, and a great finish, the M's came from two runs down in the 9th to win on a walk-off homer. Sold-out field. Who could ask for anything better, right? Stadium Warning, gripes follow! You may wish to skip past the next couple or so paragraphs. We arrived early, as we always do when we visit a park for the first-time. Two gates open 2 hours before game time - we happened to line up for the Pen entrance simply because it was the closest. Several minutes later as our part of the queue approached the entry a security employee (I think) walked up and asked if we had T-Mobile accounts. Unthinkingly we answered honestly, "nope". He said "follow me", then "this line is only for T-Mobile customers". Now I've since searched and haven't found this posted as such anywhere on-line or at the park. Were we scammed? Possibly, but by the time I realized this we'd been escorted out of line. So off to the end of the Center Field gate line, and, several more minutes later, we're finally in. Then, partway around the concourse we're stopped again. It so happens that only a portion of the park opens two hours early, most of it opens a half-hour later. So we find ourselves being pushed and jostled while huddled in an unorganized mass of people for several more minutes. In the many, many stadiums I've visited in my life I have never had such issues. T-Mobile, if you have limited access entrances, ADVERTISE them! And whether early or later, just open the entire park at the same time. The mess we stood in was truly a public safety concern. Finally, not the fault of T-Mobile or the Seattle Mariners, but our seats happened to be around a group of fans who had clearly enjoyed a few too many fine beverages and/or other products. A shame, because their raucous behavior detracted from our and I'm sure many other fans' enjoyment of the game. I know, attend enough games these days and you'll run into a few such vibe-killers. Doesn't make a person feel any better when it happens to them, or you. Other than that, it's a scenic park, especially for one which has right field closed off for the "not a roof". Food So many great food choices, certainly the best I've visited. Salt & Straw ice cream! Sumo dogs! Seafood, Mexican (chapulines!) Detroit-style gourmet pizza, fancy cocktails, to name just a few options. But choose quickly! By the fourth inning of our game the concourses were filled and every good vendor had a very long line of customers. What's Unusual So that retractable "not a roof" is actually an umbrella. It closes to keep the rain out but leaves the sides of the park open to the elements. Cool! Summary I've read several articles that place T-Mobile among the very best major league parks. Unfortunately, our experience didn't meet that high standard. Still, a very good place to see a game. read more

Pros - staff is always friendly and accommodating - no bad seat in the house, especially with the beautiful Seattle views - in game entertainment and music sounds great and is fun and engaging - lots of food offerings, and easy to find merchandise with pop up stores all over the park - bathrooms are clean and accessible from any section Cons - AT&T coverage has a hard time here. Disappointing. - I'd love an easier way to know the food offerings and where to find what you want. Can we add QR code maps around the stadium? - went to one booth and they said it was happy hour. I lived in Florida for over 30 years, living very close to the worst baseball stadium ever built that is Tropicana Field, so this was definitely a move for the better as baseball is concerned. The stadium is great, plenty of options for food. I've been to 30 plus games including a home run derby and an all star game. Not once would I say anything negative about a seat I've had in this park. If you haven't gone yet, I recommend it. Tickets aren't bad by any means and if you can get there by ways that don't involve paying for parking like taking the sounder, you can see games for less than $20. read more

Spontaneously purchased tickets to a Mariners game given that we had a good amount of time before our flight home - tickets were reasonably priced for pretty decent seats as well. The stadium and the surrounding area are really fun! Lots of food and drink options, lots of amusement (in addition to the game) with the "Salmon Run" and the Moose mascot and a pretty seamless entrance and exit process. One thing we found weird though was that there were literally nonstop fans entering and exiting their seats throughout the entire game ... even while batters were up and also standing up blocking views just because. Perhaps we're used to different rules in NYC but it certainly caught us off guard and made us have to ask the fans in front of us to sit down so we could enjoy the game (& no it wasn't them being excited bc the Mariners lost 11-0 lmao). read more

Ok one downside being everything stating the stadium opens 2 hrs before Gametime but was waiiittteed a lot longer but it looked as if they hired new security staff and were training onsite real time so I'll be lenient over the safety aspect. The stadium is beautiful and the engineering side of the retractable roof was awesome! We stopped in to catch a game and knock off another stadium from our list. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. If I had to choose, I'd either sit in the upper deck on the first base side in between the pitcher's mound and mid right field and enjoy the downtown skyline or I'd sit on the third base side of the lower deck, so I could enjoy the play up close and catch any replays on the stadium's larger than life videoboard. I loved the standing room only area behind the centerfield fence. Normally I'm more of a sitting in my seat guy, but it was fun watching a few innings while standing a few steps from the centerfielder and the Mariners bullpen. Behind the left field fence, fans can gather by both bullpens to watch the pitchers warm up. It's first come first serve and can get busy, but it's also really cool. Food, beverages and merchandise are available throughout the stadium, however most of the cool stuff is behind the left field stands wrapping around to the centerfield batting eye. I tried finding the SEAcret cocktail place - a hidden speakeasy-influenced window that provides an opportunity to purchase a special cocktail available only for the game you're attending. Unfortunately, I wasn't successful, however it's a cool Easter egg and something to look for. A quick note - the hallways and stairwells are narrow and lines will form. Please be patient while you're making your way through the concourse. Parking is also at a premium. Please take the light rail if you're able. Absolute killer ballpark! We made it to a Mariners game during our trip to Seattle, and I am so glad we were able to check out T-Mobile Park. First, the views. The ballpark looks over the Puget Sound and downtown Seattle. Fantastic views! Gorgeous setting. We were able to score discount tickets to the game via a college/student rate. It was a great way to get into teh action at a reasonable price. Even the upper bowl seating is pretty good. There are tons of food options here. Everything from classic ballpark hot dogs and snacks, to gourmet teriyaki from local spot, Marination, or legendary pizza from MOTO. The kids' club program here is also very cool. You can score discount tickets to future games, free hats, and lanyards for each kiddo you have in your group. Great access to the ballpark via bus or train. Went to a game at T-Mobile Park and watched the Seattle Mariners take on the Atlanta Braves. Great overall experience. The stadium is clean, easy to get around, and has a really good atmosphere. Sightlines are solid pretty much everywhere, and it's just a good place to watch a game whether you're a big baseball fan or not. Food options were a highlight. Grabbed a Coors Light, a Great State cheeseburger, and a Sumo Dog chili cheese, and everything hit. Also stopped by Marination for the ube coconut Krispy, which was a really good sweet option to mix things up. Lines moved pretty well and the staff kept things organized. It never felt chaotic even with a full crowd. Between the game, the food, and the overall vibe, it's easily one of the better ballpark experiences. Such a great ballpark. It's relatively simple to navigate inside. There isn't a very wide range of food, compared to some other parks, but they have the essentials. Same thing with beverages. What really made the visit great was the staff. From guest services to the team store, everyone was extremely helpful and seemed happy to be there. We had great seats at the two games we attended, but upon walking around the park and seeing multiple sectioned, it seems there's not a bad seat in the house! read more

My son and I went to the Mariners game this past Sunday and had an absolute blast, but I have to highlight the real MVP of the day: the barbecue from Rolling Smoke BBQ in Section 313. Imo, stadium food can be hit or miss, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how every single thing we ordered was DELICIOUS! We went for the Rib Platter, and it was worth every penny. The ribs were perfectly smoky and literally fall-off-the-bone tender with that glossy, glassy skin you only get with high-quality BBQ. The sauce had just the right balance of sweet and tangy, and even the sides were phenomenal. Usually, sides are an afterthought at a stadium, but both the baked beans and the creamy macaroni and cheese were delicious. I'm already looking forward to the next game at the stadium; mostly so I can get my hands on this barbecue again, lol. I've been to about a dozen MLB ballparks and this was definitely a very unique experience. The fanbase was very into the game and extremely positive, having specific chants even for players who came off the bench. That's not very common in sports, especially in baseball. The food was pretty standard ballpark food with most people I noticed either grabbing chicken tenders and garlic fries or a Detroit pizza which looked pretty good. We caught the right game as it was fireworks night! It was a pretty full house and it was one of the more memorable experiences I've had at a ballgame. read more

I have been going to this venue since right after they built it. It also happens that I just moved up to Seattle at that time. I've always lived south of the city and found that the best ride was to take the sounder. You can literally get offered across the road and walk the stadium. I've been fortunate enough to sit in many different sweets and areas in the ballpark. When I get the cheap tickets, it's fun to just walk around and experience. Everything that the ballpark has. The baseball bat chandelier is one of my favorites. Took my son to the All-Star suite for his birthday one year and it was great. Unlimited ballpark food and even seating just outside this suite. The attending staff was great. My son caught a baseball during batting practice and they went and got a pocket sized card to authenticated. The usher also took us down to see the ABS. Are most memorable moments have come when we have managed to get diamond club seats. That is the most incredible experience you can have at T-Mobile Park. The dining is first class and the seats are close enough that you can hear the players talking in the on deck circle. My son got such a kick out of ordering food all throughout the game and being so close to the action. If you get a chance to attend a game here, you won't regret it read more

Beautiful stadium and prices were fantastic compared to what I am used to paying for Dodgers games. We went to a day game while visiting Seattle. We stopped at the aquarium in the morning and then walked from there to the stadium. Right outside the stadium there were places set up serving food/drinks and we stopped there to save some $. Remember to not bring in bags that are not see through. My wife had to leave her purse in a rented locker available just outside the stadium. A stunning baseball park that I was recently at for a concert. The staff here was very friendly and getting into the venue was an absolute breeze. I don't think I have ever gone to any other venues where I was able to walk right in, scan tickets and get to my seats this easily! Security was great and was very diligent with seeing what everyone was coming in with and what they were allowing and having people throw away. I like that I could keep my keys and phone on me while I walked through. Getting to our seats (in the nosebleeds) was easy because there was an insane amount of staff around the venue helping everyone with showing them where to go. The seats were very nice and there wasn't a single bad view in the park in my opinion. Bathrooms were very clean and there as a nice amount of privacy for each urinal as well as the stalls and the place was stocked with everything. Drinks and food here are pricey so be ready. It was about $16 for a bluemoon that I nursed for the entire concert. I really thought it was awesome that I was able to tap my card, get into an area that had different beers and drinks, grab my beer of choice and just walk out and have my card charged upon leaving, without having to interact with anyone. read more

I visited the ballpark to check out a Mariners game during the summer while I was in Seattle. I really liked that it was accessible by the light rail and it was just a walk from there to the stadium! There were also cute baseball trivia posters on the lampposts on the way there. I didn't like that there was a bottleneck crowd just to get into the stadium. I tried to look around for another entrance, but on that side, there didn't seem to be another option. Finally, I got in and watched the game and the sunset there! A fun time. read more

I've never been to a real stadium. To feel the energy from the crowd is just wild! I never realized how busy it could be just to get in or out. Somehow, it felt very organized. No one was pushing or shoving to get out. They don't allow bags into the stadium. If you have a bag, they have lockers for them a block over. Enough for the size of this place. So crazy! You can also buy a clear see through bag. Another option. This place is massive! But if you're looking to get food or merch, fear not. They have food and merch stalls everywhere! We went to watch the Mariners play. So much fun! And they won which made it better! We had higher seats which may not sound appealing to some but we also had a great view of Seattle. Staff: We came for a Mariners game. I encountered staff through security who was okay. We had a very small purse that the guard was measuring against a piece of paper. It appears it had to be smaller than the piece of paper which it was. He said we couldn't have it as it was too large. Not wanting to argue I paid $10 for a locker. Kinda annoying but whatever. Also encountered a woman selling sushi. She was actually really nice. Quality: The park is beautiful and they offer a ton of really good food options. Honestly, way better options than Angel Stadium. Value: Not bad. 4 tickets on the first row about 25 rows up was $400 so not bad given the good seating. Picked up two bbq sandwiches and a coke for $40. Also, grabbed 2 mini Mariners bats for $20. I feel prices were reasonable. Overall: I really liked the park, the food options, the announcer, on screen games, etc. Parking sucks for sure as does the traffic getting in. However, I would totally come back again. Pro tip: Leave early as there is little to no traffic direction given so finding parking was difficult. Paid $36 to park about 3-5 mins of a walk away. read more

We had a wonderful time at the ballgame. The stadium is beautiful. Our seats were on the club level, great unobstructed view. Parking was easy, going into the stadium parking structure...although we got lost trying to find our car when it was time to leave. All in all we had a great time. If I was to make a recommendation it would be to bring your own foods and not rely upon the stadium vendors. The cost of food was insanely expensive. Also...parking...the parking structure cost $65. Also insanely expensive. Unfortunately it's the overall high costs that will limit our return...of course we will be back, but perhaps not as often. read more

I always enjoy my time at T-Mobile Park. Anytime that I buy tickets, I honestly spend most of my time hanging around the bullpen or in center field. The bullpen area is nice. You get to see pitchers warming up within inches of you and you can see the field in the background. The center field area is a vibe. There's always people hanging out and talking during the game. So I've been debating on how I want to write this review, mainly because I'm an Atlanta Braves fan and every time I come to games, it's only when the Braves are in town. Games that we hardly win, which sucks. However, T-Mobile Park is a beautiful venue in the heart of the SODO neighborhood of Seattle. The stadium is very well designed - concessions, the seating, and maneuverability around the stadium isn't overwhelming, so that's a plus. The fans are very nice and love their Mariners! There's a nice view of Lumen Field from any section of the stadium. I don't usually do concessions food, but tried the famous garlic fries once or twice and they were very good. The experience in T-Mobile Park is definitely worth taking in especially during the weekday games which are very inexpensive. Also be ready to take part in singing of the fan favorite "Take me out to the ball game. Watch the fans go into a frenzy! Oh man! Back to the facilities...The parking can be kind of crazy sometimes just depends on what teams are in town. Other than that I do enjoy my visit to T-Mobile Park whenever my team comes through. For those who reside in Seattle, Puget Sound area, King, or Pierce counties and you've never attended a Mariners game! What are you waiting for? It's been a while since I've been here so it felt like it was my first time! We got free tickets tomorrow the Mariners game so oler took the chance to watch the game. I love how lively it is here. There's a good selection of food/snacks, but unsurprisingly, they're on the pricier side. I think as long as you're aware and prepared for that, you could still enjoy the food here. Not only was this my first ever Mariners game, but my first ever sporting event in Seattle! I went last week with a group and it was fireworks night, so there was more entertainment to be had after the game. Mariners also won that night, which adds to the experience. The stadium is large with lots of food vendors all around the venue. I will say that it is very much on the more spendy-side, so I may recommend eating beforehand or grabbing some happy hours nearby.
