They have a nice parking garage but I prefer taking the link in. North side of the stadium you'd take the International District stop. If you want the south side of the stadium, then Stadium is the best stop. Food and beverage options here are decent. They're optimized for crowds too with those Amazon markets where you just walk out. Seattle dogs are my staple now but they have all your stadium favorites and generally lines aren't too bad since they have a lot of options. I've attended events in lots of areas of the stadium including suites, end zones, upper and lower decks. I'd say it's a fun environment wherever you sit. It does get loud though. Bring earplugs for those sensitive to loud noises. The suites shield you from much of that though. Getting around in the stadium is fairly effortless too. The pro shop on the ground floor is the most congested. The line moves pretty fast though. There are also large ramps like the Olympic ramp that you can walk up and down floors too. Overall, any chance I get to come here I generally take advantage of since it's easy to get to and I like this environment. Have fun!

What a cool experience checking out the climate pledge arena in seattle. We stopped by for a…read moreSeattle Storm (WNBA) game and it didn't disappoint. When you arrive parking is difficult around the arena. We ended up parking about 10 blocks away and walking up to the stadium. When you arrive you'll want to get in line to get through security and have your ticket scanned. Once we moved through security, you'll walk in a tech forward, modern, and Pacific Northwest themed arena. To find our seats we ended up walking by different species of plants and other cool features in climate pledge arena. We then sat down and watched the game. The seats were very comfortable and there are two screens over each hoop essentially which really helps your view from all seats in the arena. The game was a blast and definitely recommend stopping by the arena for a storm or kraken game.

We enjoyed walking the entire property before the game. There is a huge Kraken merch store, tons of food options, several VIP lounges, and even during a packed hockey game, there was space in the arena where it didn't feel like sardines packed in. The Pepsi Breakaway deal is the way to go if you see an event where it is offered. For $300, you get 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 Pepsi beverages, and a bag of popcorn. This was a win for our family! Dinner and a hockey game made for a great night while vacationing in Seattle. Even in the nosebleeds, the view was pretty good, and they offer lots of screens to make sure you don't miss a beat. Climate Pledge is high-tech, eco-friendly, clean, orderly, and we couldn't have asked for more during our experience.

A student from Central Elementary School came up with the idea of a moose which, at the time, was odd because the state isn't known for moose at all. Of course, that ended up being the right choice as the Mariner Moose has been a beloved costumed celebrity for decades and I can't imagine him not being a part of the team. It's always fun to see him dancing on the dugout, kicking it with the kids, or cracking people up in crazy costumes. Next time you go to a game, give the Moose a high five and let him know how much we appreciate what he has meant to Mariners fans around the world.

I'm aware of one thing, when this swashbuckling motley crew arrives on the shores of Alki Beach with cannons booming , guns blazing and the blade of a sword dragging on the ground it means one thing, SEAFAIR has begun in the Pacific Northwest . Seafair's annual Pirate landing on celebrates a generational folklore of a men dressed as pirates, yet it's more about the tradition many for community's in Seattle. It's a celebration and the landing is an annual official kick off to summer activity's in Seattle. Once the pirates have raided the beach's the gentleman jump on the "MOBY DICK" a motorized "Spanish galleon" and head to Benbow Inn for rum potions. Once the party has kicked into gear and over the next 30 days you will see them at every parade and community pillaging events around town... You must do the landing at least one time in your life or you will walk the plank.

As they walked up the shore, the motley crew with thick arms raised their swords and axes, some tossing souvenir Seafair coins for onlookers. "Arrgh!" one pirate yelled. I am happy to have found such a group of caring people who want to make a difference in the lives of others. Almost any given day food is served and funds are raised to help causes. The members of the Eagles are so friendly! It's a great community! The facility is so versatile. The front portion has a bar with with nice people, great music, drinks, snacks & games. The back portion is a fantastic event hall. In fact, my bestie threw an engagement party there a few years ago and it was amazing! I have since seen many large charity benefit dinners, cornhole tournaments, trivia, karaoke, and more! Part of the event hall is a large industrial kitchen. I had always wanted to join the Eagles... but had never checked into it until recently. It was an easy process and was so inexpensive! Many of my friends have also been joining... I am looking forward to many new memories to come, helping people with this wonderful group!

Wonderful West Seattle Community free outdoor movie! There is food and coffee available for…read morepurchase (all proceeds go to charity!), and raffles, and this week they had two comedians performing while we waited for it to get dark! So great that all this is provided - all you have to bring is yourself and a chair and blankets .. Some people were pretty nifty with sleeping bags! The movies they play are great - this week is Guardians of the Galaxy :) the only thing is that it is at a cement lot not grass... That doesn't stop people from setting up on the floor - just be prepared :) ps u can also bring your own food - this is a wonderful free community event!!

It has similar appeal for me to the Ballard SeafoodFest, which interestingly moved their event up to the same weekend this year. It is a neighborhood celebration. Like Ballard, the businesses in the Junction all seem to embrace the festival. Many of businesses tend to hold sidewalk sales. The one I am most fond of is the Easy Street Records used CD sale. Three CDs for $5! It is a treasure hunt finding a treasure in a sea of crap. I think this is the only place I could justify buying say, a Jessica Simpson CD, if I wanted to. There is the usual vendor and food booths that you expect to see at other festivals which are okay. I kind of prefer Ballard in this regard. As it is held at the height of summer, it can get pretty scorching so be prepared to hydrate when perusing. Live music is also a component of the festival. There are two stages and the bands playing here are of pretty decent quality for a neighborhood festival. Nothing like Capitol Hill Block Party, but this is a free event. What do you expect? U2. Uh uh. All in all, Summer Fest is a pretty decent event. If you have not visited West Seattle recently, this is one of the best times to go and revisit this quaint neighborhood.

My recommendation, catch the light rail/bus to Westlake and walk to Westlake Center's monorail platform on the third floor.  Ride the monorail over to Seattle Center - Center House is right next to the exit for the monorail! Get the all day pass, grab a table to camp out at and let your kid(s) go nuts. Siblings can pair up or bring a friend, because there is at least one inflatable that is a side by side race. Even if your kid is alone, they will still have a blast, but personally I think it's best if kids are buddied together, then you can worry less about them if they go out of your sight. This event takes place two weeks out of the year at spring break, and it happens at the Armory, which is basically a food court, so...bonus!
