Got home internet over a year ago, have been lied to ever since on my monthly calls for customer…read moreservice/outages, being told one lie or another about why my service is so spotty and why my modem needs resetting so often. Ive tried to get a new modem, they replaced the OLD one, with the OLD model, mailing the original back was a MASSIVE runaround hassle, the tmobile LOCATION wouldnt even TALK to me about home internet. "we dont do any of that" "we cant control any of that" weird, you just sold my buddy the new modem from the same EXACT location? WEIRD. Its not worth saving a few bucks when you are CONSISTENTLY resetting, having connection and latency issues, and the customer service isnt even based in this country so none of them care about their job or how happy the customer is, they just tell you itll all be fixed soon. WHEN IS SOON GOING TO COME. Dogsh!t service and dogsh!t connection. this is all STILL happening after more than TEN calls to customer service, AND replacing my modem with a brand new OLD model.....

This company has the worse customer service I have ever seen! They dont even want customers!! I…read moremoved into a house that my friend used to live in and he had a router there with some hardware like a satellite dish and a line already ran for the Internet and I found out he had used all Idaho. Well I called to find out what kinda deals they had and talked to a total idiot but she did say they had 5 up and 5 down speed for 35 a month which is pretty good but she said they were waiting on equipment to get in and she would call me back to schedule a time. I never got a call back so I called them a week later and she said "oh I meant to call you" so anyways I just overlooked it which I shouldn't have and I asked if they had a time they could come out and hook me up she said yes but he has to call the technician but would call me right back. I said ok but please do. 4 hrs later after still not receiving a call I called them back and talked to the same person and I asked them what kind if customer service do they have when they can't even call me back!!! She said um well um! By this time I am totally pissed and said what time will your tech be here I just want internet she said that he would be here the next day and that I would just have to pay 150 for the installation and it would be applied towards my bill. The next day the tech showed up and said he just needed the 150 to start the job and I asked him about it being applied towards my bill and he said no it wouldn't be applied unless I signed up for a 1 year contract!!! I told him to go because if already this company is lying to me and not calling me back what hope can I have that my bill will be right or that if I need tech support I will have it? I can't in either!! I ended up going with century link not because of the speed but because at least if I have a problem I will get a hold of someone with integrity!! I would not recommend this place to an enemy!!

Customer service has continually gone downhill, starting with raising prices after telling me I…read morewould be locked in for life at a lower price, closing all offices, so you can't go into a store, and now not allowing customers to actually talk on the telephone to a real person. Customer service online does not count as they read from a script and are not allowed to make any decisions on their own. I've been with CenturyLink for many years and recently moved in to an apartment that provides their own Internet. I went online (because you can't talk to anybody in person) to cancel my account. I was told that, because I was two days past the cut off date for billing, I would have to pay the entire month - despite not using their service - plus the new increase of $5 (so $80!) added this month. I am furious! I really people read these reviews before they sign up with this company!
