No coverage in Northern Minnesota. Left without service many a night. Canceled my account and they told me more than once they would send me the credit on my account as a Visa card in the mail. They lied and sent it to my old debit card that I cannot access. Asked for them to retrieve the multiple phone calls where they promised me they would refund me the money by mailing it to me, and they told me I needed to pull the phone calls within 24 hours. Looked online they just lied to me again because it says they can pull the phone calls after 24 hours. I would love to have my $50 back, but at this point is it worth another several hours on the phone with these people lying to me? I have no idea how a horrid business like this stays in service with terrible coverage and terrible customer service. read more

What amazing customer service this location has. We came in because my wife thought that she broke her phone due to the charging port no longer working. Then the manager came by to help us and quickly figured out that the port was just dirty. He fixed the problem within minutes! It's great to go to a business that is trustworthy. Not only was there a two hour wait, the employee that greeted us was very rude. Despite being the one that offered to handle our issue without the line, he accused us of trying to skip the line. I know how to set up a new phone; we needed to send the old phone back through T mobile which should have been very easy. Instead, he belabored that we could set up the phone ourselves, which was never the issue, but I couldn't get a word in since he was talking so much. I understand that the store was busy and I was happy to wait, but there's no reason to speak to someone so rudely. I hope that he was just having a bad day but I suspect he treats every customer this way. read more

T-Mobile is a total scam! I was to receive a 50" FIRE TV when I purchased new service with them. I submitted the promo offer and have a code, but the off shore promo department states that I never summitted the promo! I have since contacted the FCC and filled a deceptive business practices complaint and we will see where that goes. T-Mobile was to get back to me but they did NOT so I contacted them again today, same broken record response. So, I followed up with the FCC. So, now we are past the return option. Isn't interesting that they say that the offer won't be sent for 30 days or more and the return option has then run out??? CRIMINAL business practices. FYI: My review covers not just this location but online care as well. Recently I had quite the ordeal in wanting to switch (upgrade, migrate) from a Sprint to a T-Mobile plan. I found that despite it being some time since the merger (acquisition) the process has not exactly been seamless. I have been to several brick and mortar establishments, visited the Website and called T-Mobile care. I was given what I thought was confusing and frequently conflicting or contradictory information. It took numerous times stopping by a number of locations (with each appearing to offer their own advice and details) as well as several mobile calls. I will admit that I may have contributed at times (at least in part) to the general disorder that ensued. Now T-Mobile is hardly alone in offering (to me a bit bewildering) array of mobile plans at various price points. I advise anyone to do some independent research before choosing a particular carrier (or MVNO for that matter). Of course everything has pros and cons along with a staggering amount of fine print (which hardly anyone, including yours truly actually reads). However I would think that it's not unreasonable for me to expect that everyone be on the same page. To be given clear instructions and receive consistent information. In my case the communication was all over the map. For example, I was told by online support that my move from Sprint to T-Mobile was considered a "switch" and therefore qualified for a number of attractive offers. I was subsequently informed by various salespersons that I was ineligible for such because mine was thought of as a "migration". Nevertheless my SIM card was replaced in store. Hmm, a not well explained event (something about going forward with a new SIM card I can enjoy a true 5G experience) that, as far as I was concerned utterly failed to address the "migration v switching" question. I was also told that my referring friend did not qualify for a bonus since again I apparently "migrated" as opposed to making a "switch." Offered plans/features seemed to arbitrarily change and the entire experience was, I found exasperating and often opaque. In the end I finally made it to T-Mobile and so far I am satisfied with my service. Getting there took me down a long and torturous path. One that I think could have been much more easy to navigate and made significantly less bumpy. Alas, I'm not quite sure that T-Mobile really cares about my plight. If you have chosen a plan and have all of your ducks in a row, you could easily do worse than T-Mobile. Perhaps my cautionary tale might prove informative to some frequenters of this forum. read more

I stopped in tonight to get a screen protector for my new phone, he helped me with some set up questions I had and then proactively not only printed out a return label for my current trade in phone but then gave me an envelope and bubble wrap to protect my return phone for trade-in! I'd rather get kicked in the nuts or have all my teeth pulled with a rusty pliers before I'd go into this store again. We walked in were greeted promptly and told someone would be with us shortly. There were a few people ahead of us so I was fine. Looking around the store I see three employees between maybe the ages 24 and 32 while the majority of the people waiting were between 40 and 80. Yet we had to listen to hip hop music so loud you couldn't understand what the employee was saying. By the way, after being greeted, they had no wait list so they just started waiting on people in no order at all. What should have been a quick maybe 30 minute trip lasted closer to an hour and a half. T-Mobile, you can eat a dick! read more

Brought my phone in to get looked at, due to an update a chunk of my apps didn't work and app store wouldn't open. They spent 45 minutes to an hour trying to figure out what was wrong and even called tech support but they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. So they ordered me a new phone to exchange for my malfunctioning one. After waiting 6 days the phone finally came in. I went to exchange and they told me they could no longer exchange because I had a hairline crack in my screen, the crack was there when they tried to fix it a week before but they said nothing. So they basically told me I would either need to pay $100 to fix the crack to exchange the phone or just buy an entirely new phone. So I left with my cracked malfunctioning phone call their help desk and got the same BS but they were able to walk me through a hard reset which fixed my apps. Needless to say my family is now shopping for a new phone provider. read more

Store opened at 8am for their BFD and they had only two workers working. As of right now (8:40am) they have not shuffled out their first two customers of the day. I usually a very patient person but knowing that it'll be busy for BF, they are completely understaffed at this store. It's hard to come back to these locations when workers work so slow and I not saying this out of pure frustrated. I can see that the customer has issues or questions but if it takes you five minutes to put on a phone case and 10 minutes to activate and turn on a phone, I find that an issue. Please fix this MOD or re-train your staff properly. Service is no bueno. read more

Long story short, I bought a new phone elsewhere when I really had a warrantee (another store's mistake) and I tried to return the new phone here and send in the old one for a replacement. They gave me this lame excuse about how all the stores are not the same and they have different systems, so I'd have to go back to the original (which is in another state). When I called the store where I bought the phone I was told that they were lying, it's just something they say to get rid of people so they don't have to process the return and mark it as a loss at their store. In addition, the staff lounged around like they were hanging out in their friend's backyard and the manager seemed as though he couldn't be bothered to do anything by stare vacantly out the window. Do yourself a favor, drive the extra distance to go anywhere else. read more

My phone was acting up, so I went in to the store, fully expecting to be pushed to buy a new one. Nick was so knowledgeable and helpful! He tried everything he could think of to save me some money to not have to buy a new phone. Ultimately I ended up buying one, and he made the process pretty quick and easy.
