Josh Motl is the PA here and he is just awesome! he listens to your complaints and immediately inputs them in your file and finds a solution to your ailments or at least directs you to the nearest facility to help with your complaints! I have brought my hubby with me on more than one occasion to an appointment, and Josh always ask about him by name! Now that is impressive!! He was out of his prescribed pain medications. Cindy did not care about the fact that my father was supposed to be on palliative care (her counterpart Eric was "researching it"). He should have one doctor prescribing his meds and managing his healthcare. She insisted that for my father to get his end of life pain meds, he needed to be seen. (Proven yet denied by Cindy, that we received two days of pain meds while she was out because Eric refused to see him.) Unfortunately, my father cannot hardly walk and can barely sit-up. This was of no consequence to Cindy, she "needed to see him". So, I and a friend of the family took him. Due to the exertion of moving him, he was unable to speak or make decisions. He fell twice trying to just get him there! Hence, why he gave me medical POA! Well, long story short, when I confronted her absolute disregard for my fathers well being, she locked me out from being able to make decisions. Literally, tricked me into going into the hallway and then locked the door. She is out of her mind! I will be filing a complaint with the medical board and truly hope that if you are considering this terrible person to be your healthcare provider, that you reconsider. There other, more qualified providers located in Spring Valley, Dewey or PV. Sadly, it could literally be life or death!

He explained to her exactly what was going to happen and remained calm which helped her. He did a great job with the stitching and a week later, it's healing really well and I don't think the scar will be very visible. We came around 430pm on a Monday and were in and out within an hour! They didn't take my medi-share insurance and I had to pay in full while I was there. But the price was fair and I preferred that instead of being sent a large bill 6 months later which seems to be common practice for medical establishments. Thank you flagstaff urgent care!

They often charge for services never rendered. They take forever to bill you and forever to record any payment you make so they continue to bill you for weeks and weeks after you've paid. My check to them cleared my account already, yet they continue to bill me. It is impossible to actually speak to a person in billing when there is a problem! Most frustrating and incompetent medical office I've ever encountered! I've reported them for medicare fraud 2-3 times already because I couldn't get them to stop billing Medicare for service I never received.‍

I want to mention that they hounded me with texts and phone messages at first, trying to get me to pay for a service to have a liaison with my doctor/the front office. I said I didn't want to pay for anything extra. Then after that, I never got call backs on my calls and texts. It felt like a total scam. trying to get me to pay just to talk to the office. Ridiculous. I will never use Optima again.

And, I regret that....I was a patient here before this became a Primary Care Walk-In clinic, and the only reason I continued coming was because it was convenient. Over the past few years, though, I've dealt with issue after issue: appointment problems, prescription mistakes, blood draw issues, and constant miscommunication. It feels like there is little to no communication between the staff, and unfortunately, it shows. There have been multiple occasions where staff arrived late, appeared disheveled, and seemed completely unconcerned about the patients waiting to be seen. I've tried to be patient and understanding despite all of the repeated mishaps, but this morning was the final straw. Once again, I found myself dealing with an unorganized, time-wasting, and completely unnecessary situation that should never have happened. After years of giving this office chance after chance, I simply couldn't stay quiet anymore. Patients deserve better. We deserve a medical office that values our time, communicates effectively, and operates professionally. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here, and I can no longer recommend this practice.

If you are a walk in patient, count on a 2hr wait. Even if you have an appointment, count on being there an hour and a half past your appointment time before you are seen. When you call, they leave you on hold for a half hour. When you finally do get to talk to someone, they give you the runaround, brush-off, or just plain stonewall you. When you try to book an appointment online, it takes them 2 weeks to get back to you. The doctor misdiagnosed my son. He had an eye problem, but didn't even look at his eye. He instantly called it conjunctivitis. It was actually a blocked tear duct. We were told they would call us to discuss our daughter's case in a few days. They never called.
